I have kinda medium/dark brown hair, short and all, and I have a big swoop of a fringe across my face... I've tried highlights in them and colors like reddish-orange and blue (they looked nice~) and had lowlights in them before, but idk if they were just really dark brown or actually black...
anyway, I was wondering (since I've read how black dyed hair looks bad or something about it saying how dying your hair black is not recommended as to just using a really dark shade of brown that looks almost black) if it would look okay to use solid black 'lowlights' in my fringe? how would the colors look in light comparing black to med/dark brown? or should I just use like the darkest brown shade instead for lowlights? thx!
here's a pic that inspired me: http://media-cache-e...99d1da9212d.jpg
