You were surreal,
I never thought someone like you could exist
You taught me the beauty in silence
You shared the joys of being introverted
You taught me a man can be delicate
Yet you showed me your strength
You captivated me with your beauty
and I am helplessly intoxicated
Yet....
I can never have you
...you do not exist
You were the product of someoe's imagination,
But have been with me ever since we first met
Your life was in my hands,
and yet you showed me your world
You introducted me to your friends,
and I got to see you develop them into relationships
I was there when you got that deep scar on your face,
when you almost fell to the ground in a bloody mess
I saw you grow....
I fell deeper into you....
The relationship was a long one, Squall,
Though you taught me that all good things must end
We held hands as we faced the destruction of the very fabric of time,
Yet, together, you showed me how to stand strong
We jumped in to a two hour battle with Ultemica,
We won and saved the world
Squall.....
and then you taught me to let go.
I beat the game,
and played again just to see your face.
I touch my TV screen and realize,
You were my first love..................
My first emo boy
Squall....my dear Squall...........I still love you
Yea yea yea, my first emo boy was a video game character

Aw, why thank you, I am glad you liked it. It isn't the best but I wrote it from the heart on the spur of a moment.

I like this video game, I played a million times to FF VIII.
But don't forget, Squall doesn't exist.

You're talking about a video game character ? That's weird.
What do you mean by " the joys of being introverted" ? It sounds odd.

Squall is an introverted character, who showed me the beauty of being complex, intelligent, and introspective. Never before did I think of such things as wonderful and entrancing. It was completely new to me, and I was just overwhelmed by how much it spoke to me.
Just in case you didn't know the definition of introspective: given to examining own sensory and perceptual experiences

I know, I tried to reflect that sentiment. I know he does not exist, but you get to be enthralled in a plot where you get to see his life unfold, almost as if he was real.

It is easy when there is intense story line that develops every aspect of someones life is portrayed. Personality, wants, needs, feelings, relationships, diversity, hardships. You can develop a full person with the complexity of great writing, a visual world, fully animated characters who also portray their lives visually though a video game. An entire virtual person. Occampinied with a young, pubescent, intelligent and imaginative girl.
