I just want opinions, suggestions, and some constructive criticism, if you have any to offer.

The hand IS distracting, but it's the best I could with everyone in the crowd. I was pretty close, and they still had people that would get in the way. I had 177 photos to edit. After I finished, I only had 93 that I was completely content with. The bassist is cut out on the left. That one is totally my fault, I suppose. I get people asking me if I tweaked the colors any, but I assure you that the setting is quite natural.Forgot to comment back. I think on the first one, the hand is distracting and the flash bouncing off it makes it a tad bit more distracting. Last one is my favorite, maybe more to the left would have been better, which would have got the bassist a little bit more in frame.

A Canon Rebel T2i EOS. It was a Christmas present from last year.Concert lighting sucks most of the time, but color wise it's pretty good. What you see is pretty much what you get.

There was one other person, so, I guess they just said fuck it. Besides, they didn't even check me at the door. I was shooting the entire night, too.Surprised they let you in with that.

I say the contrary to Alex's post, I think the hands just add to the photographs since you're at a gig, it would be strange if there weren't other people there. The last photograph is my favourite, what is that curious looking sphere in the middle of the picture all about? But yeah, I'd say you did pretty well, your photographs are all capturing a small live show which is their purpose so yeah, not bad.

I'll try to count down on the flash, and work on my compositions next time I go out. I'm sure my photos are a lot better when it comes to other things.I like hands at a concert, I do think they add to the photo. But in that specific photo, I think it just takes away from it. Maybe if there was no flash bouncing off, then it would have been fine. But with the hand that bright, I found it distracting.
Maybe I should post the album I did for my roommate. Those are interesting.
