Just because he knew when he was going to die, makes him emo? I don't think so! In fact, Ronnie Van Zant of Lynard Skynard knew deep down he wasnt going to live past 30, he even wrote songs based on his theory. Guess what? he died in a crash before his 30th birthday. He wasn't emo at all...
Warhol was also paranoid for the last ten years of his life because of militant feminist Valerie Salanas. You'd be paranoid about your death too if a schizophrenic man hating lesbian prostitute shot you claiming you were trying to put a tracking device in her vagina. I've seen the movie I Shot Andy Warhol multiple times, and because of my interest in gender and sexuality related studies, I've read the S.C.U.M. manifesto. The bitch was insane. I don't know if everything in the movie was 100% accurate, but judging y her writings, I can totally see it all being true.
Homosexuality has NOTHING to do with being emo.
So what, if a majority of people on this forum are gay and bisexual, but alot of people are straight too... guess what? that's life in general?!
It's true. Sexuality has as much to do with your "emoness" as your race, age, height, weight, gender or family. Now, the emotional openness emo tries to promote may make being bi or gay more acceptable, therefore allowing for closeted gays to come out, and bisexuality may become a fashion statement, or a way to get attention, causing fake queers, but this does not mean there are more in the emo world than in the non emo world.
Does that make sense? I'm hella tired.
EDIT: Also, you're really smart KelDot! Keep those kiddos in line!
