If you think that a certain poem deserves to be in this category, you can say so in this thread. If enough people nominate a poem and/or if Finality or myself deem it worthy of being posted here, it's in. It's that simple.

I added that poem to the Best Poems section, Jessica, and I also moved quite a few rotten poems back to the regular section. The ones that remain range between 'pretty decent' to 'oh, fuck it, I'll just leave it or I'll get even more people PM'ing me to tell me I'm an asshole'.

I think I will move Chasing Dreams, there was something I liked about it more so than Fire, though I could always merge the two...

Edit: I found it very moving, and her use of language was amazing. It has a nice rhythm, I think.

Not my poem...no no, I had a poem in the best section once upon a time and when I looked back on it months later I realised I absolutely hated it, I've realised I hate this one already. :L As well as that, the poems in the best section are much better than that.
Edit: Thanks though

^ Firstly, if you wish to post poetry, please make your own thread. Secondly, you can't nominate your own poetry. It's like the very first rule of the thread lol. Keep that in mind for future reference.
Also if anyone notices someone posting poetry in another person's thread or where it doesn't belong, please notify me. Thank you.

I NOMINATE THIS.

Very amazingly written. Beautiful use of language, imagery, it makes sense to everyone and no one at the same time, and there are no spelling errors.

[poem] The Color Black is amazing. It's so creative. It breaks boundaries. Like the boundaries of English language. It has been nominated and seconded. It belongs in its rightful place among the stars.

If this is a poem you've written you can't recommend your own poetry, and also it's a "best of EC" section so the poem would have to actually be posted on the forum.
