There's nothing wrong with being single for two years.
For some people it works. They are strong independant people that don't need another person to complete their life!

Not a thing
There might not be anything wrong with it but I much prefer not being single. I don't need someone to complete my life, I just miss having someone. I'm quite capable of being single for long periods of time (as shown by the fact that I haven't spontaneously combusted, yet) but it stops being enjoyable after too long.

Actually, having someone, can often prove to be the worst mistake.

I agree with all of this... I'm not single Atm but i was for about 3 years xD. I remember how I was always complaining and being a total ass about it but this thread made me realize how stupid I looked.
But i need some help with a friend...
He is always complaining about how his Ex dumped him for a better guy (His Ex was a player/whore so i don't have any sympathy) We tried to tell him that she was a player etc. but he said no blah blah blah she loves me. They were together for 2 days and she dumped him. Now hes all depressed and whiney about how everything sucks. I showed him this thread but his reply "Im different"
Any help please?

I'm with you dude but it's not a matter of high school or anything else. 'There's no love'. I was in a relationship.. It was my first and the last one. Yeah you feel happy because you've finally found someone for you and to save you from the dark world you are living in. But that's all a lie in the end. You'll be lonely like you used to be. and the problem is you'll lose the trust of people around you. In the end avoid those creepy relationships. Sh. xx

Another think that might work for some people is to get a bit of paper, draw a line down the middle.
Write GOOD on one side, BAD on the other.
Write down all the good things about your ex or whoever.
Then write down all the bad points, whenever you think of one add it there. So it goes something like 'affectionate, caring, gives good hugs' on one side, then 'ignorant, arrogant, moronic, stubborn' or whatever traits on the other. Eventually the bad will outweigh the good, and you can see for yourself why you shouldn't whine over it.
won't work for everyone though.

^ I did, that...
It's kinda how I decided to break up with my boyfriend...
The bad sevearly outwayed the good and that list really helped.
Kane; how tall are you?
