Actually, you could be a man if you wanted. You would just never be a male genetically. You'd always have the XX genes but you could still live under a full male identity. I'm glad you're happier now as a female though!
I spent a couple of years thinking how much better my life would be if I was a guy, and there was a time when i tried my hardest to look like one. That was until I realised I'm never going to be one no matter how hard I try, so now I've finally gotten to understand that being a girl isn't as bad as I thought it was.

Boy Or Girl

You are lucky your mother doesn't push any gender roles on you. Mine does, even after I explained my situation to her, she still acts as if I am going to grow up, marry a man and give birth to my own kids. To that I say: hell no!
I really don't think it would have made a significant difference.
I grew up with my mom who is very easy-going and has never pushed any gender roles on me and wouldn't regardless of my gender.
I already have a lot of male traits as it is. I've been forced to be strong; a provider. I have difficulty with emotion. And I dress like little boy. ...relatively.

periods are a fucking pain, but beauty comes out of it (being able to have children, etc.)
id like to be married some day and have children. I love kids. One thing I do hate is how men tend to underestimate women.
Ive had some guys tell me "You play too much sports, your too buff, that isn't attractive." Or when I said I want to be a famous athlete they said "how about we focus on becoming a wealthy family" meaning, "STAY IN THE HOUSE AND HAVE KIDS. THATS YOUR ROLE."
I use to lift weights with my cousin who was a guy, I enjoyed working out and sports more than anything in the world. I wanted to go pro someday.
but guys were intimidated by me, I wasn't exaggeratedly buff or a muscle woman, I was just Fit with tight legs, abs & arms.
And watching me dominate in sports wasn't attractive to most guys either, they'd rather see me on the floor scrubbing tiles, or making them a sandwich.(Ive been told that before, how awful.)
So, I would really appreciate it if some men weren't as sexist, I guess. I can clean a house and cook a delicious dinner, AND dominate in pro sports or weight lifting if I wanted to..
Doesn't make me any less feminine or more masculine..
But if I was a guy, id be more glorified for what I want to do in life. Id be praised if I wanted to be a weight lifter and id be looked upon as attractive if I got really buff. My mom and dad would also support it more. But of course now, I want to be a rockstar, or lawyer lol.

I like fashion, but not in the "omfg i need to buy those shoes, and omg this purse matches it perfectly!" sense. My closet consists of three shirts, two pairs of pants, a skirt, and a sweater, which I've had all of this since I was 14. Even my brother says my closet is quite sad, but I just don't really care. I like what I have, that's it.
I do not have pms. I've had several friends ask me if I ever get my period. There are several female behaviors that I don't have. I'm not saying "FUCK YOU, I don't get hysterical and bitch about things without giving reasons! So don't talk to me now", it's something that other people have noticed about me, and not just me fantasizing about not being a hysterical bitch every now and then. My personality just doesn't match what are said to be the "typical" woman behaviors. Which is why my sex is just completely meaningless, insignificant to me.
If I actually had been born a boy, perhaps it would have been the complete opposite, I might have been much more identified with women rather than with men, or it could be rather similar.
As said before, both sexes have their pros and their cons. I don't believe that one of them is better than the other. Once, one of my friend's grandmother told me "Why can't you be more feminine? Don't be vulgar, be the woman that you are.", I had answered that I just didn't like being a girl, and she said "You know, girls can do something that guys can't, which is the best thing in the world. Do you know what that is?" ... "Wear a skirt?". She then, disappointedly, told me it was being a mother. That hadn't even crossed my mind.

I love being a guy because
- I don't get periods
- I don't give birth
- I don't get things shoved up my vagina (I don't have a vagina, btw)
- I don't have to care about being pretty
- I don't need to shave my body regularly
- I can take my shirt off anywhere
- I am athletic
- I can be a "playa"
- I can masturbate
- I can cook
- I can drive well
- I don't need to worry about breast cancer
- I can play videogames
- I can shave my head
- I can join the military for combat roles
I hate being a guy because
- I have been called a fag
It must suck being a girl.
XD Guys can get breast cancer BTW. Honestly IDC what gender I am.

Many people have already confused me for a girl before. I don't take that as an insult though. Girls are beautiful. It was a little embarrassing though, just the fact that I have nothing close to boobs and a deep voice.
Being a guy isn't that great.
There's a lot more ridicule
-we are often mistaken
-it takes more for us to be accepted(for anything)
-erections. Easily visible not as easy to relieve.
More to explain, but others have pretty much filled those slots.
Gender shouldn't define a person.

It`s really doesnt matter to be a girl or boy!
That`s so childish when people get their gender as a top point because nobody chooses her/his gender.

I believe that if i was born male, the only difference world be in body type, and the fact that i would be gay. I like guys and i can not stand girls. I would probally act the same and everything. People might treat me different, but I would still be me .

If I were born a chick, I'd probably be the same: emo, depressed all the time, bi-sexual, stuff like that. It's funny, tho, people think that it's not right for guys to gay or bi, but it's totally fine for girls to be it. I say screw them. Plus, I would still love Rubix cubes!!!
