Welcome to The Palace, here we have the best in medical staff to look after you’re mentally unstable. We show great amounts of care towards them, until you leave that is.

The Palace was once a very successful Mental Institute, but when the owner died in a tragic, and completely accidental fire, the hospital then fell into the hands of his grandson, Bert Blivinskey, We will just call him Mr. B. Well Mr. B was a very cruel man and thought that taking care of insane and disturbed people was a waste of time, but the hospital brought in a lot of money. So Mr. B kept the Palace But being the bad man that he was did nothing to help the patients overcome their illnesses.

There are two wings, Wing one is for the none violent patients, and wing two is for the violent patients. If you are in wing one you are free to Rome around the hospital as long as you don’t try to leave the "safety" of the electric fence that encloses the entire establishment. And if you are in wing two, you are allowed two hours of exercise whether it is walking around the outside of the hospital or walking up and down the hallways.

Each wing is given one hour of free time in which you can go to the library and read through the small assortment of kiddie books, go to the music room and play around on the out of tune piano, guitar, or tambourines (mind you they are all falling apart), or you can go to the dance room, a big ballroom covered in mirrors where the patients can go to relieve emotion through dance... Or just stair into the mirrors aimlessly.

Vioent/None Violent- They were told that she is violent but she really is not but the hospital still put her in wing two.
Disorder- Paranoid Personality Disorder, is a condition characterized by excessive distrust and suspiciousness of others.

History- Verra was sexually abused as a child by her stepfather and now she dosnt trust anyone. When she tried to run away she was caught and sent to the Palace because her stepfather didn’t want to deal with her.

Age- 18
Vioent/None Violent- Even thought Justin looks very calm and composed most of the time, he is very violent. If he gets anything he can use as a weapon he will use it. He does not make friends, and could care less he likes being alone. He will kill if he gets the chance.
Disorder- Process Schizophrenia. Also reffered to as poor premorbid schizophrenia, this type is characterized by lengthy periods of its development with a gradual deterioration and exclusively negative symptoms. Usually this type of schizophrenia is associated with "loners" who are rejected by society, tend not to develop social skills and don't excel out of high school.

Hair color- Dark Brown almost Black

History- When justin was 10 he visiously attacked the family dog, strangeling it and repitably stabbing it with a pen until it was dead. His parents put him in thearpy but it never went any farther then that. Then 5 years later, when he was a sophmore in high school he set the school football feild on fire. When the police questioned him, Justin said his friend Tarra told him to. But as luck would have it there was no record of a Tarra at the school and his parents had never heard of the girl before. So instead of going to juvie Justin was sent to The Palace. He is in the first wing and mostly confines himself to his room, but when he comes out he dosnt say a word to anyone. A few of the orederlys have heard him talking to someone they assume is a girl, but when they look in on him he is all alone. He believes that Tarra is real, and that she is just really good at hiding, and he is inlove with her, or at least he thinks he is because he has never really know what it is like to be in love.
Other- likes to draw, paint, and sculpt Tarra.

Verra sat in the hallway with the other patiants as the nurses went in and out of each room making their rounds, looking for anything the patiants could use to hurt themselvs or anyone elce. Fionaly maybe an hour or two later they were all let back into their rooms. As the door closed behind Verra she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand upstraight. She looked around and then suddnly began to tear up the whole room, Afraid they took something. She suddenly ran to the door banging on it hard, "What did you take!" She yelled over and over, she kept banging on the door and yelling until her hands were brused and her voice was scratchey, then she sank to the ground crying.

Age: 18
Vioent/None Violent: Vincent is placed in the non-violent wing. Although his past would tell otherwise, and give a different impression.
Disorder: Major Depressive Disorder. He's kind of over the depression right now, but he has grown very apathetic. things that would mean a lot to him in the past, don't anymore. They simply don't have the same impact on him. He has a hard time trusting others as well. Afraid to open up.
Eye color: Greyish.
Hair color: Black.
Race: White.
Sex: Male
History: Vincent grew up like anyone else, until the day his parents crashed when he was 14. Things started to go downhill from there, and he changed a lot. He isn't a small kid anymore, he's tall and strong. And although you might not think it, he's smart.

Vincent was sitting on a chair, as isolated from everyone else as he could be. He could hear screaming coming from the second wing. Because he was close by, he could actually see the entrance, and if he wanted to, he could go there. It would require some timing and planning though, but Mr. B didn't give to shits about any of the patients, so neither did the staff. It looked like it was falling apart.

Verra continued calling, now for help, she wanted to get out of here more then anything. She hated it, al the nurses looked at her like she was crazy and dangerious, she wasnt, she just didnt trust anyone. She had a good reasone not to trust them too. No one in this place really knew what had happened to her, and she had tried to forget, but it never worked. She just wished she had one friend, someone to talk to, someone who really listened and didnt write down everything she said and didn't say like the shrink did.

Justin sat in his room tapping a paint brush aginst the wall trying to ignore the noise from the room next to his. "Ugh! she always dose this! Dosnt she know by now no one is going to come and help her?" Tarra said leaning aginst the wall infront of Justin. "You should go make her shut up!" Justin looked up from his feet to the door, which was cracked open then to Tarra who nodded. And with that he rushed out the door down the hall and threw open her door.
"SHUT UP!" He yelled pushing he back away from the door. "No one is going to get you out of here and no one cares if you rot in this hell whole! So just shut up!" He grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her out of the room into the hallway. "Look! You see these people?! They have been here longer then you and not one of them is ever gonna leave. So get over your stupid little fantisy. You are never going to leave." He staired down at her as she cryed, his eyes cold and mean.

Verra Held her knees crying as Justin yelled at her. "Th-they will!... They will come an get me!" She said through sobbs. She wasnt going to believe that she had been abandoned in this place, she couldnt. As Justin began yelling again Verra looked around for help, afraid he might hurt her. The only person who was paying the slightest bit of attention was a boy sitting near to the intrence of the first wing.

Vincent heard shouting and crying. He looked towards the sound and saw a boy, standing over a girl. His voice was raised and he said something about no one ever leaving this place. A speech of hopelessness.
Standing up and slowly walking over, not a staffmember in sight, he looked at her and mouthed. "Stand up."

Verra looked up at Vincent, her eyes were wide because she didnt think anyone would actioule help her. She slowly stood up trying to ignore the contionus yelling from Justin as he got closer and closer to hurting her. As he raised his hand she quickly ran and hid behind Vincent. She was shaking all over and she couldnt stop.

He looked at her, and shielded her with one arm. Vincent looked at Justin but didn't say anything.
"Don't worry," he said calmly to Vera. It had been a long time since he had interaction with other people.
Vincent didn't know what was going to happen, but Justin didn't look like he was going to do anything.

"Punch his face in! He interfeared!" Tarra whispered harshly in Justin's ear. "What if I get caught?" "They dont care Justin... JUST DO IT! DO IT NOW!!" As Justin raised his fist out of the corner of his eye he saw a nurse watching them and he loweder his arm. "Stop making so much nosie!" He glowled to Verra as he walked back into his room.

Verra felt like she was an inch tall and she didnt like it. She felt helpless, hiding behind this boy she didnt even know. "Th-Thank you..." she said softly once Justin had left. As Vincent turned around she looked at her feet and hid her face in her hair.

Vincent looked at her, but didn't change his stoic facial expression. He lifted her face to look at his, with a finger on her chin.
"Are you okay?" he asked her. Aside fom being in this hellhole... he thought to himself.
He knew she wasn't crazy. Not like some of the people in here. She wasn't. Crazy.. Crazy. Life had gotten to her. Because it was cruel.
That's the way it was. No mercy for the weak.

Verra looked up at Vincent and nodded whiping her tear stained face. "Thank you..." She said again this time looking him in the eyes. She had seen him around when she was in the hallway. If he hadn't helped, Justin would have most likely hurt me... She thought to herself. Suddenly she hugged him tightly saying, "Thank you so much, I dont know how to repay you!"

Vincent looked at her and tilted his head, wrinkling his eyebrows. "You don't have to repay me," he said to her, and looked serious. Why was he doing this? He wasn't good with people, but all of a sudden he was talking to her and had just helped her. Maybe she made him do it. Some people had strange effects on him, and made him involuntarily do things. He knew he was doing them, but he somehow just felt he had to, even though he'd usually never.

She didnt looke up but just kept hugging him, she had to repay him somehow. She had seen him around alot, he was always alone like her. She knew it could be lonely. Suddenly she realised she was still hugging him and she pulled away quickly hiding her face, wich was now really red. Putting out her hand she said softly, "I'm Verra Lee Sophia, but you can just call me Verra..."

"Vera," he repeated. He forced a smale smile on his lips, and looekd at her still. Vincent tried to read every facial expression. Then he shook her hand, and said:" I'm Vincent."... a second went by, "Hale.. Vincent Hale."
Maybe I'm actually ready to have social relations again. he thought to himself. Well I always have been, just not according to the "doctors"
"Are you going to be okay?" Vincent asked again and looked at her face.

Verra bit her lip and looked back at her room then shook her head "They took something... I know they took something...." She said tugging at her long hair. as she took a step towards her room her head felt like it was spinning she took a step and as her foot came in contatc with the floor she crumbeled to the ground. First her knees hit then she was flat on her back and she felt like she couldnt move.
