Anyway, love to me is something that rarely exists in my life. I've only ever really loved one person, but that relationship went tits up so I can't really say I've had much experience with the emotion.

To me love is something that can't be described its something that words can't describe it's a feeling that will never go away. Just like when people say of yu love something let it go but why of yu really love it don't let it go hold on to it forever

Movie love does not exist. Your naive expectations cannot possibly be met. As someone else put it - it's about *tolerating* someone for the rest of your life - and not getting tired of the sight of them after a few years. It's about facing everyday struggles and managing to pull through them together. It's not crying and kissing in the rain or any shit like that. All relationships have problems, arguments and shit periods. The head over heels thing fades rather quickly, but is replaced by a different kind of love. But all these dramatic romantic movies.. the 'love' in those just doesn't happen. Lower your expectations or you're destined for disappointment. Same goes for sex.

Stop watching Twilight and watch your parents instead.

Of course, it'll come in time as y'all mature and gain experience. Some things you just have to experience for yourself to understand.
