The door Faranette was approaching opened. Her ears twitched when she watched a boy carrying a little girl on his back come out.
Her kitten leapt out of her hands when the boy bumped into her. "Sorry." He mumbled.
"It's okay," Faranette muttered, rubbing her arm and looking after the speeding kitten. "No problem. Is that girl okay?" She asked looking at Mattie as the boy walked past her.

Harkot ran out after them and called, "I didnt mean to hurt the kid! She over exerted herself!!" He wanted to get to know the kid, maybe help Mattie round out his powers more.
Emma was a little confused at what was going on. She looked back at Kyler slowly and said, "I dont read their minds I can understand what they are SAYING." She smiled at the slightly bewildered look on Kyler's face.

"She'll be fine, just needs some rest." James said quickly. He got Mattie to his room and gave him another pill. "James, I'm tired." "Go to sleep then." Mattie scooted over to one side of the bed, lifted the blankets, and patted the bed. James rolled his eyes but climbed in the bed nevertheless. Mattie snuggled close to the older boy who wrapped his arms around Mattie and covered them with the blankets. "Comfortable?" James asked. Mattie nodded his head 'yes', "Good, now go to sleep." James said. Mattie was soon asleep. James followed not long after.

Emma smiled and shook her head. "Well I should be getting back to my room.." Slowly she turned back into a dear, the same one Who had been standing in front of Kyler and his sisters when they had first arived. She walked over to kyler and put her nose aginst his shoulder as to goodbye then turned and trotted out the door. She stopped next to Harkot and rubbed her head aginst his arm.
Harkot smiled and placed a hand on top of her head, "Bye Ems, dont get into to much troble without me, Kay?"
Emma put her nose to his cheek and then turned and bounded down the hall to her room.

Mattie whimpered in his sleep. "N-no please." James woke up and wrapped his arms around the small boy. It was another memory dream. Mattie's father had been an abusive asshole to Mattie when he was younger. When Mattie made the contract with James, he said James would protect him till the day he died. That meant taking that man out of the equation for good. James removed him and Mattie and his mother had been happy. Then Mattie's powers developed. His mother was horrified and immanently kicked him out. James was the one who enrolled him after 6 years on the street. "I'm here, don't worry." James said in the boys ear. Mattie sniffled. "St-st-stop i-it, p-pl-please" the boy was sobbing. James wanted to wake the boy up, but if he did that the boy would wake up scared and probably end up hurting himself like last time. James hugged the boy tighter. "Mattie opened your eyes." "N-no." "Mattie, open your eyes, please, for me." James said. Mattie whimpered and slowly started to wake up. "Nightmare?" James asked knowing the answer. Mattie shook his head yes. "Are you hungry?" Mattie said. "Sure." James said, Mattie slipped on his pants and James slipped on his shirt. They walked downstairs to the cafeteria and ate diner. "Mattie, I think I have to remake your medication." Mattie groaned. James always went over board with the test.

"wha-" kyler stopped himself. she was a wierd one, that was for sure. kyler shut the drawers to his new dresser and went to lay down on the bed. he grabbed his ipod on the way and turned on the alarm to wake him up in an hour. he fell asleep to august burns red-leveler

Harkot sauntered back into the room closing the dor behind him softly. He walked over to the darkest corner in the room and sat down. Instantly the darkness began to float around him like a thick black fog. It twisted around him and began to travel around the room until there was no light, only darkness.
Emma made her way down the coradoors to her room she pushed it open and walked in, still in dear form to see one of Kyler's sisters walking around looking at a few of her things.

annalise jumped when the door opened. "oh i-im so sorry! i was just loo-" her brows bunched together. you are a animal? youare my roomie? she sent through the mental connection she had to all animals of the land.

Faranette blinked at how quickly the hall emptied. She turned to the door the boy and girl had leapt through, deciding to check and see if the girl was alright.

All of a sudden the dear shifted to a wolf and it growled sending a mental message to the girl. Stay Out Of My Head! Emma couldn't stand it when someone tried to get in her mind. That was hers and hers alone, she wouldn't share that with anyone.
Slowly she changed back into a human and just stood there looking at the girl. Then breathing softly she said, "I'm sorry." She bowed slightly then taking a few steps forward she put out her hand and said, "My name is Emma. And you are?" She smiled warmly reasuring the girl that she wasn't going to hurt her or anything of the sort.

"o-oh i-m sorry. i-i didn't know you weren't a normal deer. forgive me. my name is annalise james. it's nice to meet you." she said, tucking a piece of her wild brown her behind her ear. she shook emma's hand. xander and scabbers squeeked. annalise grinned. "do you like rats?"

Emma smiled and nodded, "It's quite alright. Just dont do it again." She said it cutely and in no way at all threateningly. She looked at the rats and smiled and turned into a mouse, the one that had been at the front doors and scurried to them and started to squeek as if talking to them.

Annalise smiled. Yes, it was a tad wired that the girl was talking to her rats, but, at least she was cool with them. Moat girls scream and eww at them. Annalise began unpacking.

Mattie managed to sneek out and get some time to himself. Mattie went to the roof and trained. He was almost good enough to conger a ball of shadows. "Don't over do it Mattie." James said leaning on the door frame. Mattie sighed and walked over to James who hugged him. "I was just thinking about what that Hakot guy said, about me being pretty strong, and well what if you aren't around to protect me, I need to be strong right?"

Harkot had fallen asleep and had started to have a nightmare. The shadows in the room started to get more and more agressive until fionaly Harkot jumped awake and all the shadows went crazy and then dissapeared. Harkot looked around, Kyler was still asleep thankfully and Harkot sighed and then put on a pair of sunglasses and a big black trench coat and walked out into the hallway. Harkot shuddered as the sun light hit him, even though he was covered he still didnt like the thought of it. Food... was the only thing on his mind at the moment. As he walked to the mess hall he went past Emma's room and knocked on the door and before anyone opened it he mumbeled, "Hey Em, Im going to get something to eat. You can come if you want..." For a moment there was no reply and then the door opened and Emma stuck her head out.

Emma looked at Harkot, she could tell he had had a nightmare, she could always tell when somethign was up. "Ok.." She looked bacck at Annalise and asked if she wanted to go.

Annalise woke up when there was a knock at the door. Emma asked her if she wanted to get something to eat. "Sure. I'm starving. Let me get dressed." she jumped up and went to get a pair of jeans and a shirt from her drawer. As she walked past the open door to go to the bathroom, she looked out and saw a cute guy in a pair of shades and a long trench coat. Annalise shimmied into a pair of tight jeans and a plain brown tee. She grabbed some socks and slid into her shoes. She grabbed her black jacket and said "Ready." she grabbed her keys on the watt out.

Annabelle woke up with her head a birds nest. " Damnit! Wind? Do me a favor and undo this birds nest." she said. The breeze began gently undoing the series of knotts. Maggie began to chirp. Annabelle went over to her bag and scooped out some birds food. "Thanks. You can go now. Well unless you want to lay out my clothes." she said to the wind as it started going through her bag. It layed out a soft blue dress that matched her eyes perfectly. Annabelle rolled her eyes. "A dress? Seriously? Whatever." she sighed and slid into it and headed off to breakfast. There still wasn't any sign of life from her roomie, if she even had one.

Out of the corner of his eye, Harkot saw Emmas room mate and his face instantly went red. "Who is that?" He whispered to Emma when the girl was in the bathroom.

"Thats my room mate Annalise, She kylers sister..." Emma looke at Harkot as he looked at the bathroom door. She shook her head and pushed him a little, "Dont be getting any ideas!"
