This is by no means finished, i'll forever tweak at it until I hate it so much it's destroyed.

The back arm looks odd, that's something I noticed after the final scan so i've sorted that out now, lol. Also I can't draw hands. Some of the finer pencil detail has been lost in the scanning, it looks a little more... realistic in the actual paper version.

I seriously love this. So much.

idk if it's me, but does the area where the ear is, look funny? Or is it her hair? Either way, her facial features are exquisite.

Hair/laziness/ 'oh i'll sort that bit out later on' then forgetting... Will sort that out now too.

Thanks guuuys ^_^

edit: Also because the drawing is actually A5 and this has blown it up, so the ear/detail is actually really tiny and difficult to see :L

^^ that is very nice! Very organized and the details are wonderful! You got all those curves in her body, excellent shading, and and and I love it!

But one thing are you going to re -fine some of the features in her body such as her face, eyes, arms, clothes, and legs? O: that's all I want to point out c: your a wonderful drawer! ^^

It was good to see this progress (from what you uploaded and posted on the box anyway) and you've done a great job, I like the secret face on the knee Aletheia pointed out too. She looks like she's pouting actually, as if ready to kiss. The hands need some work, as you said, but it's pretty damned good.

The way the top of the dress wraps around her torso looks odd. I don't feel like it makes sense given where her back is.

The neck and hands are the best part, in my opinion.

Her right arm looks long and awkward. Why is it so stiff?

Its the same in the reference picture I used.
'The back arm looks odd, that's something I noticed after the final scan so i've sorted that out now,', haha. I tried changing it a bit, but its one of those things when you're drawing that just doesn't seem to go right.

Dat hand. Also, why is her back leg thicker than the leg which is planted?
Her back arm looks like she's being put into an Armbar by a phantom

I would have shaded the leg flesh to where it looks a little smoother but otherwise it's a good ballerina. :3

It looks really good. Maybe if you tilted the hand on her back arm a little it would be less akward looking.
Ever heard of edgar degas?? He painted alot of ballerinas.

It's good and another member has mentioned this. The chest, waist and legs look out of place. The chest comes down nicely from the neck and collarbones but when it connects to the stomach it drags out for too long. The ladies chest is lacking curves which results in a bulkier/squarish looking mid riff and waist. If you sketched the top of her leotard up bit higher it would help fix it a bit but consequently it will make her skinnier throughout her upper half. On the upper hand it should also help you put in some curves as well. Actually on second thoughts the position of the leotard is good, it's just how it's drawn. Sorry to confuse. Maybe this will help, I hope you get what I mean.

Ill just reiterate on the smooth part - the drawing is A3 which is half the size of a normal piece of paper and is therefore a lot smaller than it appears :P So the details were a little tricky.

Is the picture I used for reference for the body, I mean, if you're stretching that much your whole abodmen is going to be pushed out. It looks a bit strange but that's just how humans are I guess. :P

Both correct and my dodgy example in paint wasn't the best. A good valid point to Alex but even if it's just slightly it would looks a little nicer. Keep up the good work Leah (I think that's your name)
