Welp. I met Phrike on here, and we had our one year anniversary early this month. <3 I've also met some really cool people on here who are equally as opinionated.
EC has also helped to educate me in the art of trolling and being a Grammar Nazi. Can't live without that, of course. And some of the threads on here...

I have definantly met a lot of interesting people here on EC. People from all over the world that I probably wouldn't have met otherwise. Learned a lot that has made me a more well rounded person.
Live long and prosper EC.

I think for people to deny they get something out of this place is ridiculous, why the hell else would some people be sticking around for a matter of years, and I see them online several times a week? Old members regularly come back, you might leave EC but EC never really leaves you!

I've told people on here things that I haven't told many people in the real world, and I'm comfortable with that.
Carry on, EC.

'in this thread' is also acceptable grammatically. NAZI ATTEMPT FAIL.

I disagree. "content in this thread" sounds sort of clumsy. PLUS, the word 'content' already implies "in" as if something is content, then it has to be contained WITHIN something. So it's repetition, it's like saying "sufficiently enough".

He made a topic in the singles section and the title intrigued me, so I looked it over and we had a lot in common (though I wasn't really looking for anything), so I commented and we've been inseparable ever since
We've been together 6 months to the day, and they've been the best 6 months of my short life

I know Ben, CJ, Jess, Brett, and Antonella truly changed my life from here tho. Like, they all kinda shaped who I am and made me more comfortable with myself and really just helped me a lot with my anxiety problems.
TANKOO EC XOXOXOXOXOXO

First off, it taught me two important things: That most people think homosexuality is okay and the existence of bisexuality.
It's confusing, spending your time wondering whether you are straight with a thing for girls or gay with a thing for boys. Being both had never been brought up, and so I thought I was really messed up.
It seems so unimportant, having a name for it, but the name is the acceptance of multiple people feeling the same way.
Secondly, it improved my writing. My OCs became more three dimensional. Grammar and spelling increased in leaps and bounds, working with the RPers.
Thirdly, the amount of times you guys have kept me alive that bit longer. I owe a lot of my current existence to you guys

For those of you who don't recognise this, a bunch of you clubbed together last year and sent me all these letters and a really cool fossil. You guys have no idea how endlessly grateful I am, even after sending you all thank you.
It shows that I still have all the letters.

On topic, uuuuuuuuh I dunno, I met Kasey on here and we're still in love three years later soooo there's that. There was, however, Jade SAY IT WITH ME CHEWY loljade
I guess I'm pretty tight with Leah too but that's not really through here, persay, as having to APPROVE HER for Chewy.
I'm alright with Staton, by which I mean, we occasionally say a few sentences to each other over skype without insulting one another. I guess I'd grab a beer with him given the chance.
The rest of you are pretty French though so I don't think I'm missing out on much.

Wait, what? I think I'm complimented? As long as it's not "man I don't wanna be like her"...
You do kind of have a point though, a lot of members behaviour I've seen that I hoped I could be like, or definitely don't want to be like, which is just as good to learn

You and CJ, I kinda look up to. And Ben too, but not as much.
But as a whole EC is pretty much the reason I can actually go out in public now without freaking.

You know, I always come back every now and then to say hi and see how things are, but I always wish I never left to begin with.

No mention of me?I've met some amazing people that really helped me through so much. Brett, Kelsey, Phrike, Dalton, they all ended up becoming such great friends. And there are so many more people on here that are just so brilliant, that I'd really like to get to know better. Jess and Chad, for example.
