What Do You Eat?

For example, for breakfeast I normally eat a cereal bar (about 7:00 AM), for lunch I eat a cold sub with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and ham (12 PM), after that I eat at home and it varies a lot. It might have to do with the fact that me and my sister are going to be chefs. But what we eat most of the time is some sort of plate that has chicken or beef. We also cook a lot of spicy things, but not as many sweet things. We don't have any desserts at all, unless I feel like making something sweet. We don't cook a lot of seafood at all, even though we live close to the south coast. My family is Hispanic, so that might be why we're very tolerant of spicy things.
So EC, what do you eat on a daily basis? Do you have a pattern you follow while eating food?

Regularly I eat cereal, salad, grilled vegetables, sometimes tofu, a generous amount of pasta and bread (true weakness right there D:)
Snacks of course
I don't eat mayo or butter, sometimes I eat cheese. I drink A LOT of skim milk, like more than probably anyone should. A lot of tea as well.
Sometimes work tempts me with soda. But I really try not to drink it. Work also tempts me with veggie calzones
At home, I eat all-natural, healthy food. At work, I slip up and nibble on bad things D:
Fun Fact: I haven't ever eaten a hotpocket, a twinkie, or Taco Bell. I also haven't eat fast-food in over 3 years. Not all Americans are the stereotypical fatlard.

And maybe once in awhile when I have the money I order some spicy tuna Sushi, chicken covered with honey and the ceasar noodles which are the best I ever had. [spicy, 3 different types of meat lol]

On an ideal day:
Breakfast: a bowl of cereal.
School lunch: usually something like potatoes and vegetable sauce with cabbage salad, grated carrot, crisp bread and water. Obviously it's different every day, though. I like to fill most of my plate with salad.
Dinner: often pasta, salad or some kind of soup. Ramen or Thai cubes when I'm lazy. Pizza on Fridays
I usually eat fruit when I want a snack. I also drink at least one cup of cocoa every day

And chips and energy drinks!I eat a lot of protein bars and granola bars.
I have like... A tea or coffee in the morning... Followed by an energy drink... Then a few hours of nothing.
Lunch I will generally eat a sandwich or something snackish like chips/sour worms/salted cornick.
May have a piece of fruit when I get home...
Then at dinner whatever dad is cooking... from a simple pie to lemon pepper salmon to stir fry... it's awesome having a chef as a father.

Lunch: Either a wrap or sandwhich, with either chicken, bacon, ham or salad in it, usually a combination.
Dinner: Nothing, sometimes I make rice, pasta or chicken, or I'll just have some fruit or a salad.
Snacks: A bag of crisps or a bit of chocolate.

Breakfast: Potentially anything if I'm in the mood, normally, though it's most likely some light pastry (meat pie, chicken curry pie etc).
As for the rest of the day since at times I'll have 4-6 meals a day, sometimes 3, sometimes 1 (varies depending on my current workout phase).
It's always either, lamb (shanks normally), beef (steaks or strips), chicken (breast or thighs) or salmon/tuna. There's always a side of salad or veggies, I actually quite like my veggies and couldn't consume all the meat I do without them.
Rarely ever touch pork (yes that means no bacon), or snacks high in saturated fats, salts or sugars. So that rules out most junk food and energy drinks.

Typical chicken meal, about 300-400 grams of chicken. Yes I made it myself since I'm the one cooking dinner for the whole house.

Brunch (which is at one/two in the afternoon); Tea, cereal or toast. That is if I'm at home, when I'm elsewhere it's a sandwich.
Tea; Either - Eggs and toast, sandwich, microwave pizza, a chippy or some Indian food my mum will shove down my throat.
I mainly eat a lot of cakes, and desserts. Like cookies, ice cream, doughnuts, cake bars etc. When I can remember to drink something it's always either a fizzy drink or orange juice.
I tend to not eat much food that my parents grew up with, I can't handle spicy food and my dad thinks that all the local delicacies from where he was born are the best. I'd rather just eat what's quick and easy to make.

I occasionally try to eat better/more but I lose interest pretty quickly, it's generally "eat every so often to stay alive" with me.

I don't eat a lot, especially when I'm not at school. For the last week I've had a sandwich around 3pm, then dinner in the evening, nothing else. Food is so much effort. Dinner varies, could be any kind of meat, with potatoes, pasta or rice and vegetables. If I'm cooking it's usually a little more interesting, I use sauces and such.

I read this and thought 'oh gosh imagine barely eating like that' then actually thought about what I ate and thought 'oh'. >_> Mine's pretty similar but minus the meat. I miss veg, guys. ;(
I'm a student and I usually can't be bothered cooking, my flatmates leave the kitchen in a tip most of the time anyway so resources are limited
I don't usually eat breakfast unless i've bought cinnamon grahams. Lunch is sometimes a shop bought sandwhich, pasty from greggs or super noodles if i'm hungry. Dinner is pasta and cheese if i'm quite hungry, maybe super noodles, or a micro wave meal. Some days I just don't eat anything til around 10pm because i'm just not hungry, or i'll make a cheese toasty or something and not be able to finish it despite not eating all day. My diet is so terrible though, needs to be healthier. I used to snack on biscuits and everything all the time but I dont even do that any more.
When i'm with chewy we usually eat loads, we're always hungry, it's weiiiiird. I try and make us eat healthily though so we have salads for lunch or stir fry, I cut up celery for snacks or crisps or something and we have something nice for dinner like enchiladas or fajitas or spag bol or lasagne, all home made.

I'm not exactly restricted by diets, but generally speaking I prefer healthy foods. I don't deprive myself though, I don't think that's healthy. If I want some cake, I'll have it. That's perfectly fine. I love vegetables, they're possibly one of my favourite groups of food. it is hard to describe my diet though, purely because it varies so much. Generally speaking I prefer other countries diets though. I don't tend to like things that revolve around a massive heap of carbs, especially potatoes or rice. I'm not a fan of either, seems so unnecessary, fills me up and doesn't taste all that great unless you cook them really well. I'd prefer an extra helping of whatever else is going
As for what I eat...
Breakfast is generally speaking some kind of fruit. I can't stomach eating much very early in the morning, maybe some kind of yogurt (usually goats, my mother is allergic to dairy and I've found I prefer goats...)... If I'm absolutely starving or say, have an exam, I might eat some brown soda bread toasted or eggs benedict.
Lunch is usually some form of wrap or soup. I love tomato soup <3 Wrap depends but it's usually some form of chicken/tuna plus salads. I used to always have cheese but I've found I've gone off it in wraps a little now. It depends though, the area that my university is in has a LOT of really amazing restaurants and most of them have these lunch deals on because hey, they need the business. So sometimes I'll go out with friends for lunch instead. Asian food is a favourite of mine... I love sushi, I love thai, I love vietnamese food.... that said I also love mexican and italian food. My god, Italian <3
Dinner varies, and if I have a meal out in a cafe during the day I generally will just have fruit or something for dinner. Generally speaking I'll eat steak like maybe once a week, though it has to be extremely high quality and cooked rare or I won't eat it. I'll sometimes have something like duck or lamb, but most of the time I'll probably be eating some kind of fish (swordfish is my favourite), turkey or chicken.
If I was to be hungry during the day or if I have a huge block of like 5/6 classes in a row, I tend to grab some form of coffee to keep me full, cracotte crackers, or fresh fruit. I LOVE fruit, especially more 'exotic' kinds, papaya, lychee, pineapple, any kind of melon, dragon fruit, all berries...
I really don't understand how people don't adore food. I fucking love it! I think EC knows well by now of my extremely irritating cravings which are potentially worse than a pregnant womans. They're always completely unrelated and I'm likely to interrupt an in-depth conversation I'm having to say "God, I'd love a crayfish salad right now".

Lunch: Usually two medium-sizes pieces of fruit (e.g. two apples, or an orange and a pear) or one medium-size piece of fruit and two small pieces of fruit (e.g. an apple and two clementines).
Dinner: Not fixed. Fresh vegetable soup is a perennial favourite, though. For a ‘full dinner’ I like fresh vegetable soup with wholegrain rice and chunks of chicken filet in it. Ridiculously easy to make, filling and healthy. Other favourites are a plate of steamed vegetables (broccoli, kale, cauliflower...) seasoned with nuts, lemon juice and olive oil. A good potato/vegetable mash is always great too (potato/carrot, potato/cauliflower, potato/green cabbage...), but then I need a tender entrecôte and homemade pepper cream sauce. God, so delicious.
Other: Dry biscuits called krakot are great snacks, or a piece of fruit, or celery/carrot sticks. My only true indulgence, I think, is a cup of hot cocoa with a bit of cinnamon and cognac. It’s amazing.
I love cooking but I rarely cook extensively for myself alone. It’s such a waste of time and money if I’m not cooking for other people as well. I love having dinner parties at my place and trying out new recipes. People always love my cooking, for which I am very happy. Cooking extensively works very therapeutic and always gets me in a great mood.
