Gabriel looked at Gem and raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Respect?" then he shrugged and shook his head. "Respect is earned, not given." Gabriel had never respected anyone if they hadn't earned it. He was a little bit of a rebel when it came to things like that, and he would stand by it until his dying day. Nothing would change that. When Gem mentioned Futa's possible dirty magazines, he widened his eyes and smiled. "Oooh." he let out, chuckling. Then he sat down on the floor, back against the wall. Gabriel frowned when he asked him if he remembered and what it felt like to be shot. He wished that he couldn't remember anything. Gem wouldn't like it if he knew what it felt like when his life ended. "It doesn't really register at first..." he sighed and grabbed the t-shirt. "It doesn't even hurt, it just feels weird. I think they shot me right in the heart, so I didn't really feel all that much." Gabriel raised his face to look at Gem who was lying on the bed. "The people who shot me were bank robbers. I wasn't in a gang."
Mia nodded in silence, looking down at Futa's hand. It felt nice that he touched her. It calmed her down and she knew he did his best not to show how he felt right now. So did Mia, but it wasn't all that hard for her. "I couldn't forgive myself if I lost Gabe again." His hands had left a llittle blood on her clothes, but she ignored it for now. "The worst right now is the smell," Mia wrinkled her nose and frowned at the scent that came off of her hands. "I mean.. I've played so many video games and watched so many horror movies but this is crazy. The smell is enough."
Then she stood up when Hisoke had entered the room. He was clapping. He was being mean to Futa. More than Mia could ignore. Futa had helped them all, and he seemed genuine enough. To Mia at least.
"Hisoka stop it." she said to her friend and furrowed her brows, but he had this ability to shift his mood like the flick of a switch. When he stepped forward and hugged her, Mia sighed and just tightened her arms around him. She wondered whether Futa meant both of them, when he said they could borrow his clothes. Mia couldn't hide a smile at the thought of her in his clothes. "Yeah I guess you're right, we can't go outside in this." she stepped back from her friend and looked at his and her own clothes. She was covered in blood, and decided that she might as well throw it all out. Mia lifted up in her shirt to see if it had soaked through and was on her skin, but all that stained her stomach was the ink of the tattoos on her hips. "Is there somewhere we can throw these out? Or should we burn it?" she turned to Futa again and tried to smile.
