So I've been told I'm going to be put in rehab when school finishes this summer, and I'm actually kinda scared. Honestly, have any of you been to rehab? Because I have no idea what it's going to be like, at all. |:

I've never been. What are you going for? Is it a last-resort thing? Do you WANT to go? Are you willing to commit to it?

WAT. I haven't ever been either, so I can't really tell you what to expect, but you shouldn't be scared. It's something new and different in your life, so of course you'll naturally feel a bit worried about going, but don't. You'll be fine. You're a really strong person, you've pulled through so much, and if rehab will make you better, go for it. You deserve to be happy, Kelsey. I can't say that going to rehab will magically make everything better and make you happy, but it will perhaps give you "tools" to use in your life to make it easier, to make you stronger than you are, and to get rid of those bad habits. Would you be an inpatient or an outpatient?

And to perhaps make you smile

And I made you a Lady Gaga drawing. :B I love you.

Vicodin addiction. I don't really know if I want to go yet, but people are basically telling me I have no choice

Well i personally don't think the drug itself is terrible but it's the fact that your body will get used to it that eventually that won't cut it anymore. you'll keep wanting the strong stuff. I oded on perk before...kinda on accident (don't really want to go into it) needless to say, i got pretty sick and it sucked. I don't think the rehab will be that bad. Depends on the clinic i would say.

That's why they want me in rehab, because that's exactly what's started to happen

I've done it. I'd recommend it if you're developing an opiate addiction, which, from the sounds of it, you are.

You can probably expect group therapy, individual therapy, a pretty rigid environment, etc.

That said, it's not a bad thing. You'll get out of it what you put in to it. Good luck and don't worry too much.

Kelsey for it to work you have to be willing to accept you need help, if you have that's one of the first steps.
Getting over an addiction is not by any means easy and I'm sure you know that. Just for your own sake and health use it to get better and break the addiction.

Well man if your going into rehab your obviously having some kind of problem that you might not be admiting to yourself,
But just rememeber people are there to help you so if you have any problems just be open to be changing yourself.
