Emma quickly pulled her shot gun from her back, check to make sure it was loaded then kept running with Alissa, shooting zombies down whenever they came out of their hiding places. They were getting closer to Emma's hide out when she looked up at the whindow and saw flames, "Fuck!" She yelled. Something must have sparked and caught fire. She thought as she quickly looked at Alissa. "Thats my hide out!"

Alissa's eyes grew wider, "Wow, well I geuss you could stay at my hide out for a little while, just follow my exact steps and don't touch anything you might set some traps off." She raced off towards the trapdoor avoiding the booby traps she has placed making sure Emma was following behind her, then she stopped dusting the leaves and grasses off the trapdoor and practically pushed Emma inside and went in after her locking the doors securley behind them.

Emma gasped when she was suddenly pushed into the dark hole. She stood against a wall waiting for a light to come on, almost praying for one to come on.

History: Laine was just doing what he always does: Work when he heard a banging on the door, he opened it and there were 4 zombies, he then had to fight them and find a hideout, he know some girl that kept setting booby traps around here.

Laine stopped running from the 4 zombies trailing him when he approached a trap door, seeing it was locked and that the zombies were far enough away, he banged on the trap door "Hey, please let me in!" he yelled, urgently as the zombies were getting closer and closer.

Alissa went quiet as she heard banging on the door, great someone followed just what I need. She opened the doors wide open to see who it was, "What do you think you're doing? You could lead them all here and you could of got caught in my traps," she said getting a little angrier at the boy that stood infront of her.

Emma looked out the door aswell and looked at the guy suspiously then something past him caught her eye and she gasped when she saw four zombies running straight for them. "Hate to interupt but look!" She said quickly and pointed at the Zombies.

Alissa peeked around the guy who stood before her, aaww crap this guy is nothing but bad news. "As much as I hate letting people in you better get in here," she said grabing his arm pulling him into her home double locking the steel doors behind them. "Okay, come with me and I'll get you some food and water but we have to go through my lab don't be scared of what you see." She said as she was slowly walking turning the lights on infront of her.

Emma nodded fallowing behind Alissa quietly. Every now and then she looked at the new comer, he was cute but she didn't trust him, he could be infected for all they knew. She gripped her mallot tightly feeling uneasy around this new guy.

He just blinked, confused by her constant gripping the mallet, he just calmly followed, showing little emotion for what he saw, knowing that it had to be done.

Alissa opened a new door more secure than the others and walked into the lab, "this is where all the tests go on." She walked over to a cell looking room, "inside here is my biggest test of all time," Alissa opened a slide showing a child zombie sedated on a bench top with many tubes sticking into it's skin. "It's slowly becoming more human, I'm looking for the cure, I know it's in my own blood let alone this child's I'm just immune."

"That poor child, I hope he gets better" he said, looking sympathetically at the zombie. He waited patiently for whatever happened next.

Emma looked with the others at the child, it was sad to see but Emma couldn't help but feel anger. Anger that this had happened, and anger that she had lost her boyfriend and family to this. "So your working on a cure?" Emma said softly.

Alissa turned and face Emma, "Yeah a cure that can make as many zombies as a I can back to human, and once that happens they'll be immune and never be able to turn into a zombie again even if bitten, see I'm trialing by using my own blood into this here 'child' because I can never be turned into a zombie." She smiled at the thought of being the only one not able to catch it ever.

Emma nodded listening to what she was saying. It was alot to take in but it made sense, a little. "So..." Emma looked around a little trying to hide a yawn. "What now?.." She asked looking at Laine then Alissa.

"hmm" he said, looking at the child sympathetically one more time before looking away

"Come with me, I bet you're both hungry and tired, I'll give you some food and a place to rest - for now." Alissa lead them through another steel bolted door and through two flights of stairs into the kitchen. "Any requests of what you want to eat," she asked as polietly as she could, "I have pretty much everything and everything you could want and I'm not just good with experiments but I'm good at cooking." Alissa smiled at the memory before the epidemic of wanting to be a proffessional cook and laughed to herself.
