I've never really liked girls my own age. From a young age I was messing around with the girls in the year above and when I got older I started going for the younger chicks.

Now I'm dating a women in her forties haha. She's genuinely old enough to be mother. But I like it the feeling of domination she makes me feel like a little girl and I fell asleep on her lap like a cat. :3

Age differences are weird for me. It's a definite no no.

I've only ever dated a guy who is at most two years older than me, and the majority of the time I prefer guys who are a year older. Not a year younger or the same age, just one year older than I am.

Other than that I think it's creepy. I will admit, I found a friend who was a year or so younger than me attractive, but I didn't initiate anything. I felt wrong.

I'm 21. I've only ever been with someone who is a few months younger than me, and I can't imagine going for someone who is more than a year younger than I am. However that's probably really just cos of the age I am - I'm hardly gonna go for someone ten years younger, you know, I do draw the line at 12, not 11. Perhaps it'll change when I get older and I'd be more likely to accept someone who is a good few years younger than I am. Right now, that just seems kinda weird. I certainly couldn't imagine being with someone who is in school still.

Again, right now, I can't imagine being with someone who is SEVERAL years older than I am. I've had a few things with guys in their 20s, that's fine to me. The general age for me has been within a few months of me, because I've met them through college, mutual friends, etc, so we obviously have the same age more or less. I was seeing this guy in his 30s before and that was fine, we got on fairly well but again, you know, we were just in different places in life so we both drew the line under that fairly quickly. A casual flirtation and some drinks and dates, whatever, fine, but a serious relationship? Hmmm. I can't imagine being with someone who is, say, on their second or third serious long-term full time job and say, has kids...

I am going to put a rough estimate out there and say up until 27 would be 'normal' for me, anything after that might require a little extra work. Age isn't ultimately the determinant of a relationship I'll have though, I'm now an adult and we'd very much be on even footing - but it'd be unrealistic to say that I could date a 45 year old and expect the age thing not to be at least SOMEWHAT difficult, even in terms of (as much as I hate this word) "life experiences" and general mindset. Generally though I don't know where you'd meet someone with a massive age difference to you. Most guys I meet will be between the ages of 20 and 27.

The women I’ve dated were my age or a year younger. One was almost two years younger than I was. I’ve only dated one woman who was older than me: I was nineteen and she was twenty-five at the time.

I don’t think of age much when I think about dating, but, given I am twenty-four, twenty feels like the bottom limit I am comfortable with and even that is pushing it. It makes me mentally and physically uncomfortable, almost queasy, if I think of dating anyone younger than that. As for older than me, I don’t have a limit in mind where my comfort level ends. It depends on the person in question, how her personality is, where she is in her life, what her passions are etc. Although I can’t see myself dating, say, a fifty-year-old.

I don’t have a preference of wanting to date women who are younger or older than me. Both are fine with me.

As for me, at the moment dating a guy younger than me is sort of out of the question. I'm trying to tell myself there's an upper age limit but in reality it just depends on the person. I don't think I've ever been attracted to someone younger than me, though I don't really go anywhere I'd meet younger guys. Being 18, the people around me are generally older.
