Edit: this has actually gotten me curious. What determines what is fashionable and what isn't? How are new fashion trends started? Does fashion design follow sales, or do sales follow fashion design?

I confess to being a tiny bit in love with these, though, even if they are the new post-vans shoe fad, reason enough not to buy them - but they're too clunky for me probably and not really my style. I think they're so hideous that they're adorable, if that makes any sense.

Boots, you should all wear boots, they are comfortable, practical and go with just about anything... and by boots, before y'all get clever and post heeled boots and the like, I mean good sturdy working/walking boots.

Admittedly thougth I have several pairs of leather ankle boots I live in in Winter. But your toes can get really cold in them I hate really chunky boots though, ugh, especially cos I have quite small feet and it looks weird with these big massive boots...




EDIT: lol, wonder if anyone else has the same kind of fashion fads where they live. Last year or so, these style of boots were actually everywhere and every second person has them on... I tend to get quite bored of shoes if it's what EVERYONE has on... I never did get a pair and I doubt I will because I'm so sick of looking at them on everyone else

Those are all my feet. The boots are mine, the rest were taken at the shoe store. :3 I was in love with the red shoes, they were so beautiful. Too much money though.

I thought almost every pair of shoes posted were pretty ugly, except the heels Jess posted.

On the topic of FEELINGS; My eyes have been blurry all day and it's frustrating to have to wear my glasses even though it's giving me more of a headache, other than that, pretty good. Spending the day with the family and having a movie night, yeaaay.

^I usually wear runners or slip ons, I almost never wear heels. If I'm going to call shoes "nice" though, it sure as hell isn't going to be for something casual and plain, or with some of the obnoxious and ugly patterns posted before.

I think the boots was just a bad picture. D: They're quite lovely and they go well with jeans or skirts when I'm trying to look nice without over dressing. :3




OT: I feel happyhappyhappy. Even though things haven't necessarily been going my way with a lot of things lately, I still feel amazing and happy and looking forward to the future.
