I loved sentients old thread she posted a few months back with the awesome things that happened in her week. So we all have highlights to our week, what's the best and worst thing that happened to you this week? Make me laugh, guys!




The best thing that happened to me all week was realising that I only have two weeks left until I go to Prague, and talking about going to australia for the summer

The worst thing that happened to me was dealing with a 50 year old woman in work who insisted on me walking around the shop for nearly 2 hours with her, and in the changing rooms she refused to close the door and insisted I stood there for opinions on the clothes and stood there in a greying bra and.... a thong that I'm not entirely sure even existed. Ugh.


It was also pretty shit when the bus driver drove by me yesterday. Man, I hate when they do that. Some of them are such wankers. he definitely saw me and just chose to drive by, too. Arsehole.

Equally the best and worst things in the best week for me have been Portugal.

Last weekend the GP was in portugal. It rained. I was unamused.
It was great, i've never been to Portugal before! Our hotel was lush, the saturday night we actually got back to the hotel at a REASONABLE HOUR (this is a massssive novelty for my boyfriend and his dad, trust me here), which meant I could fully relax, have a lovely bath etc, get a decent nights sleep, and just to top it off: free breakfast in the morning! We flew back with British Airways instead of our usual Easyjet, so we got a free sandwich and drinks and a nice experience with that. Excellent.
The sunday however was a massive let down. I dropped my camera complete with new 500mm lens hard on the ground, my loupe (viewfinder thing for videography) fell off and rolled into the track in the middle of a race so I couldn't film and I was worried about it being damaged, all my shots were awful, the weather was terrible and I was in an all round terrible mood.

oh Forzare, you're such a jetsetter these days, it does make me horribly envious even if it is for work and I'm sure regardless of location you're doing similar work... but still!

Best thing was of course meeting up with Elizabeth in New York City early last week. We had such a good time. Spent a lot of money, but she really enjoyed walking around in Midtown. Didn't do all that much, but managed to go up to the observatory at the Empire State Building, went to eat at an awesome restaurant called Bond 45, and went to the New York Public Library. The Roosevelt Hotel was lovely as always, and looked great after its restoration.

Worst thing was leaving her and going home. Though it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Pretty much exactly what Mike said, except reversed (obviously I did not go see Elizabeth lol). Had the most wonderfully incredible time, and leaving was hell.



Although to add in something different:

Best: My birthday. It was absolutely lovely and I got to do a lot of drinking.

Worst: The area that my family kept our things was broken into. Still not sure what was taken, but I do know that a lot of my things (things that mean a lot to me) were severely damaged, not sure if all of it is fixable and some of it definitely isn't, and a lot of it will be difficult/expensive to replace if I can't keep it. That was pretty shitty.

Worst: two cops were driving past where I work, whilst I was having a smoke. They decided to ask me if I was working (as in a streetwalker) I panicked said yes but then added upstairs in the cafe. That laughed and drove on. now I look like a stupid hooker ;(

Best: meeting up and hanging out with the guys on really beautiful days and just enjoying the nice weather and walking around. Oh ya and a cab driver giving me a free ride to the subway cause he said "He likes beautiful girls".

Worst: Other guys kept hitting on me and I had to keep telling them I have a bf and they keep on persisting. On Monday it was fucking raining so I had to go home early and was completely soaked. Head to toe.

Awesome to get a free cab, but my god pervy taxi drivers really get annoying sometimes the worst one I've ever had was the night of my 21st birthday when I was with a guy and my two girlfriends on the way back to the hotel we were staying in. Thank god Cormac got in the front, because he kept on asking us if we were some sort of foursome couple, and going on about these various pornos he'd seen, offering us tips...

Well, the best thing that happened to me this week was on Monday where I finally found a stable job. I'm working at the wonderful Argos, it truly is my dream to be a sales assistant at a large company that's hard to advance beyond lower management. I get paid now, I am actually employed (and assuming I don't fuck up monumentally) forever!

The worst thing would have to be some creepy girl texting me all the time asking me for a fuck. I don't know who she is or how she got my number but NO THANKS I don't want herpes or whatever she's carrying.

This will be very exam-oriented as that's what's on my mind most at the moment.

Best: Biology exam went great. I stayed up all night before it to study and the day was hell, but I'm confident I got an A

Worst: Maths exam. Couldn't have gone worse. It's my favourite subject and I think I got around 90% in the first paper (a bit disappointing but not terrible) but I think I got like 75% or less in the second paper, I just panicked and couldn't think straight and it was awful. So I'm pretty sure I'm getting a B and it was the only subject I really cared about :'( I was sososo upset but I'm just trying to forget about it now. The worst thing is they changed half the course this year to total bullshit and if I'd sat last year's exam I would've done a lot better.

And best to come: German exam tomorrow. I love German and the exam is going to be fun

got a 3.6 GPA for the semester which is pretty sweet...oh and also, last night i went out to a bar and belted out Bohemian Rhapsody on top of a table for karaoke night

The best thing was graduating(which was Friday), but it set in more this week.

The worst thing was closing the front door on my head and giving myself a blackeye.

Bad: My dad is beating up my brother again! I can't go and help him this time...he's such a fucking two faced liar (my dad) and no one wants to help.

oh i feel like an ass, i forgot to say the worst thing about the week so here it is...i got blue balled the other day cause her sister and one of her friends walked in the room and then i had to go to work so i sat there in excruciating pain for like 4 hours
