So as some of you know and some of you don't the weather in Britain has been reported as being a little crazy lately and is hailed as "teh global warmningz!" (Global warming myth, climate change fact, at least in my opinion based on evidence and studies I've viewed). Now I have a teensy problem with this, we had 3 weeks of glorious sunshine and a lot of unpredictable changeable weather.... buuuuuuuuuuuut... isn't that EXACTLY the British Summer we all complain about, I'm also sure it's factual based on the fact we're a temperate country a good portion of which is at a pretty high altitude with cliffs and hills (especially where I live) creating weather vortices.
As such, whats the big fucking dealio?
So for discussion, hows the weather?

Been averaging 95-100 this Summer, but this past week has been Monsoon season so we've been getting battered by storms

Well up here in MancFester it has recently stopped raining. The clouds seem tempestuous, though, so I expect more rain in about, say, fifteen minutes?
So, same old, same old, really!

We've had all our allocated sun in march. Now we survive by stealing light from God's windowsill like a little ragamuffin

It was quite hot. A heat wave with temperatures past 90 degrees (30 degrees celisus + for the rest of the world) has affected us for a few weeks now here in New York. Though today, it's a lot cooler.

Hampshire seems to have missed all the flooding at whatnot for the main part. Rainy still though.
It needs to stop raining mid-august for a bit or the event we're organising is going to go absolutely tits up.

In Scotland it is raining, it always rains. When it isn't raining we complain about the heat, when it is raining we complain about the rain. Nothing has changed at all.

I cannot think of a more boring topic than how the weather is. Regardless, it's sunny/rainy here.

It hasn't rained in like a week, which is great news for the guy who has no roof on his car.
2 minutes after I typed this, the sky cracked with thunder and the rain began to fall.
Seriously.

Things are bad when you're talking about the weather D;
as everyone knows, in Ireland, it always rains. Always. Usually though, it is a little bit more mild during the summer and there'd be less rain, or when it rains, it's only a quick shower. But it's been fucking horrible ever since we've had one week of gorgeous weather about 7/8 weeks ago that is universally accepted as the only summer we'll get. It's been the wettest June on record (although isn't that a phrase you frequently hear....?) and we've had floods and everything. It's pretty irritating because it feels as if you're in the middle of November, constantly.

Humid, with occasional rain and thunder.
I don't fancy having to shop in the rain tomorrow in Manchester. But oh well.

It's been gross. Usually 30+ and always humid. We've had more thunder and lightning than usual from what I can tell, even when it hasn't rained, which isn't that often lately, although July has had more rain already than June. June was extremely hot and I think we broke records for hottest days at least once. I think it's been cooler since July started, but it's still been quite hot and very humid. I don't even care so much that it's been hot, I just wish it were less humid, it feels so bad.

Our summer has been rather normal. Hot, but normal. Our winter was rather odd this year though. We normally get snow storms like once a week but it only snowed once this year....and it was in October....
Forgot to mention I'm in Massachusetts now. Not Florida.

So sick of Irish weather. I remember summers when going to the beach seemed like a good idea, can't plan to go to the beach now because if it's sunny, odds are it'll rain in the next hour. Blah.

yeah, it seemed like a lovely day when I got off work. Clear enough sky, still really bright... then the second I got on the luas, within ten seconds there were torrential hailstones. What the fuck?

There was a really cool thunderstorm last night but it started just as we were going into Tescos so I missed most of it.
Its overcast today and we're expecting thundery showers.
I'm a tiny bit of a geek here because everytime it gets rainy i'm constantly checking this: http://www.meteorologica.info/freedata_lightning.htm
to see where the lightning is. When there was the massive floods and storms last week in the midlands/north I checked that and the entire middle of the UK was alight with little yellow trianlges indicating lightning strikes, it was fucking insane.
