My favourite anime would have to be Death Note, I loved that it was so short but so effective. I wouldn't however choose anime over cartoons as I have grown up with some very amazing shows. i.e. Cat Dog, Ren and Stimpy, The Simpsons, Beavis and Butthead, The Angry Beavers - there's just so many to choose from! I'm also very embarrassed to admit I own a lot of Star Trek comics...

i haven't been on here for ages

i can't choose either

i love many animes like bleach,naruto,vampire knight,etc

but i have grown up to cartoons like dexter,tom and jerry,scooby doo etc

but i have to choose manga since i like the artwork better

still i own manyy dc and marvel comics like batman,spiderman,dare devil,etc as a child and i love them all

favorite anime huh? thats a tough one

hmmm...well id say DBZ just cause its the first one i ever watched and its like a part of who i am lol, but honestly i feel like right now it'd have to be either death note or maybe hellsing, or cowboy bebop, or maybe even code geass...ugh fuck it

Isn't it redundant and a more than a little xenophobic to separate the subjects, and if you're going down this route, why not include your favourite manwha as well?

Also you can't really compare British comics to American ones, so we should separate those into other categories... but then do we do that via publisher or writer?

And all this is before we even touch OEL Manga and Non-Japanese Anime.

Are we talking long running series, short OVA's or cinematic movies?

Where do CGI animations fit into this?

it's too hard to list one so meh
Anime: Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, FLC, Baccano, Samurai Champloo
Manga: The only one I read consistently is Naruto and that's only because after liking it so much when I was younger I feel compelled to keep up with it somewhat. Looking back it really is shit tier/babbys first anime/manga
Cartoons: Angry Beavers (me and my brother had matching shirts), Samurai Jack, early Simpsons. There's probably way more but they're the ones that came to mind.
I never got big into comics. I own a few Simpsons and Futurama but little else.

Anime all the way, my favorite anime is Angle Beats, Death note and Vampire knights and for manga i dont read very much of it but out of what i have read my fav is bleach.

I really love Fairy Tail! Its cute, funny, lots of action and non-stop change of plot. I love it the most.
Umm I like Togainu no chi (sp?) it was nice it was a yaoi but it didn't really percieve it as one just lot of guts and violence all over.
I like the "Blue Exorcist" anime too to bad it ended

I do like anime a lot but I grew up on cartoons I also appreciate them more now that I'm older and can better understand the gimics then say anime and I do like anime but cartoons they give me that warm fuzzy feelings.
Bugs Bunny and tweety show, MAD, Animaniacs, Who framed Roger Rabit, Space Jam, Mickey Mouse, Marvel super hero cartoons I love, Cool World!


Both I adore. I do like Cartoons better though.
