Flower Design

So I've been wanting to get more tattoos lately and decided the next one I want is a flower. I got sketching and coloring the other day and this is what I ended up with. Thoughts? Feedback would be great!

On a side note, every time I see someone with a rose tattoo (which is quite often) I start to sing every rose has it's thorn lol

The flowers gorgeous, it'd make a great tattoo.
Where are you thinking of getting it?
Ah thankyou. I'm not sure to be honest, when it comes to drawing I just draw and then resize it to fit where ever or use it in another piece.
Hate it.
That's okay and I would like to know why. Feedback would be great.
That is an amazing idea for a tatto :3

Thanks and yes the rib cage could hurt..
I like the art, it's alright. I wouldn't recommend getting it as a tattoo or anything, though. You shaded the piece pretty well too, I'm quite happy about that. Usually a potentially good drawing is ruined by shoddy shading, you've obviously put quite a bit of effort into this. But again, don't get it as a tattoo, it will fade pretty quickly. Roses usually do.
Thanks for your input, yes it annoys me as well when a piece of art is destroyed from how crappy the shading will be. I also do roses but everyone has those.

Also love the shading on it, but I'm not too keen with that chain.

Oh yeah sorry I had a moment of lazyness thereThat's okay and I would like to know why. Feedback would be great.
I think it looks a little boring. It just seems like a doodle to me, I don't think it would work well as a tattoo. The flower just isn't pretty, but it's not edgy or cool or punk either. The idea of the chain is fine but it comes across awkward because it's so small. The anchor at the end is also a good idea but it would have to be much bigger and incorporated better. I can't quite remember what else was in there but overall it wasn't that great. Now, I'm not saying you can't draw, the shading was fine and it was okay on that part, I just see that as a horrible tattoo.
This I agree with. You have an idea, talk it through with someone who knows their shit. A tattoo artist can take that and turn it into a wonderful tattoo. It might not look exactly like yours but chances are you'll like it even better. You could take that drawing to a tattoo artist and ask them to base a design on that general idea, but to design something that will translate well to a tattoo.
