I don't really have a favorite movie, I have a lot of movies I really enjoy and can watch over and over but couldn't pick one that is my favorite.
Here are some I would recommend:
Dracula 1931 and 1958
Both of them are great, the 58 version would be better if black and white movies aren't your thing but don't expect the effects to be amazing.

3:10 to Yuma

Anchorman
If you haven't already seen this movie then drop everything you are doing and watch it, you won't be able to breathe.

Personally I think there should be a section for things like this, a Film and Television Section or something.

It'd would go under the emo entertainment section.
A sub-section would be nice, though.

Published section & Favourite films/movies etc.

I mean't a Sub-Section.
Would be good to have a Sub-Section, it all ends up in the Hangout. Did there not used to be a Section or Sub-Section for it?

How the fuck does a movie fit in a section dedicated to poetry and prose, let alone in a ‘published authors discussion’ sub-section?
My top three:
3. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Robert Ford, who's idolized Jesse James since childhood, tries hard to join the reforming gang of the Missouri outlaw, but gradually becomes resentful of the bandit leader.
2. The Fountain
Spanning over one thousand years, and three parallel stories, The Fountain is a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world.
1. My Dinner with Andre
Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory, apparently playing themselves, share their lives over the course of an evening meal at a restaurant. Gregory, a theatre director from New York, is the more talkative of the pair. He relates to Shawn his tales of dropping out, travelling around the world, and experiencing the variety of ways people live, such as a monk who could balance his entire weight on his fingertips. Shawn listens avidly, but questions the value of Gregory's seeming abandonment of the pragmatic aspects of life.

Other movies I love:
Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens
Vampire Count Orlok expresses interest in a new residence and real estate agent Hutter's wife. Silent classic based on the story "Dracula."
Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari
Dr. Caligari's somnambulist, Cesare, and his deadly predictions.
Silence of the Lambs
A young FBI cadet must confide in an incarcerated and manipulative killer to receive his help on catching another serial killer who skins his victims.
Cape Fear (1991 remake)
A convicted rapist, released from prison after serving a 14 year sentence, stalks the family of the lawyer who originally defended him.
The Remains of the Day
A butler who sacrificed body and soul to service in the years post World War II realizes too late how misguided his loyalty has been.
Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
Amélie, an innocent and naive girl in Paris, with her own sense of justice, decides to help those around her and along the way, discovers love.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
A couple undergo a procedure to erase each other from their memories when their relationship turns sour, but it is only through the process of loss that they discover what they had to begin with.
Fitzcarraldo
The story of Brian Sweeney Fitzgerald, an extremely determined man who intends to build an opera house in the middle of a jungle.
I Saw The Devil
When his pregnant fiancée becomes the latest victim of a serial killer, a secret agent blurs the line between good and evil in his pursuit of revenge.
Aguirre - Der Zorn Gottes
In the 16th century, the ruthless and insane Aguirre leads a Spanish expedition in search of El Dorado.
Stalker
A guide leads two men through an area known as the Zone to find a room that grants wishes.
Conspiracy
A dramatic recreation of the Wannsee Conference where the Nazi Final Solution phase of the Holocaust was devised.
Talvisota
Russia attacked Finland in late November 1939. This film tells the story of a Finnish platoon of reservists from the municipality of Kauhava in the province of Pohjanmaa/Ostrobothnia who leave their homes and go to war. The film focuses on the farmer brothers Martti and Paavo Hakala.
The Seventh Seal
A man seeks answers about life, death, and the existence of God as he plays chess against the Grim Reaper during the Black Plague.
Schindler’s List
In Poland during World War II, Oskar Schindler gradually becomes concerned for his Jewish workforce after witnessing their persecution by the Nazis.
Se7en
Two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his modus operandi.
The Shining
A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where an evil and spiritual presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from the past and of the future.
Stalingrad
A depiction of the brutal battle of Stalingrad, the Third Reich's 'high water mark', as seen through the eyes of German officer Hans von Witzland and his battalion.
No Country for Old Men
Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong and more than two million dollars in cash near the Rio Grande.
Marebito
A fear-obsessed freelance cameraman (Shinya Tsukamoto) investigates an urban legend involving mysterious spirits that haunt the subways of Tokyo.
Affliction
A deeply troubled small town cop investigates a suspicious hunting death while events occur that cause him to mentally disintegrate.
Gladiator
When a Roman general is betrayed and his family murdered by an emperor's corrupt son, he comes to Rome as a gladiator to seek revenge.
The Dirty Dozen
A US Army Major is assigned a dozen convicted murderers to train and lead them into a mass assassination mission of German officers in World War II.
Lilya 4-Ever
Lilya is 16 years old. Her only friend is the young boy Volodja. They live in Estonia, fantasizing about a better life. One day, Lilya falls in love with Andrej. He is going to Sweden, and invites Lilya to come along and start a new life.
Lost in Translation
A fading movie star with a sense of emptiness, and a neglected young wife meet as strangers in Tokyo and form an unlikely bond.
There Will Be Blood
A story about family, greed, religion, and oil, centered around a turn-of-the-century prospector in the early days of the business.
Das Boot
The claustrophobic world of a WWII German U-boat; boredom, filth, and sheer terror.
4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days
Drama about a woman who assists her friend to arrange an illegal abortion in 1980's Romania.
That should do.
