Okay basically just say your favorite movie and why you like it, be it a tear jerker, a make your skin crawl/nightmare causing horror, or interesting social commentary...

Yeah you get the point xD

I don't really have a favorite movie, I have a lot of movies I really enjoy and can watch over and over but couldn't pick one that is my favorite.

Here are some I would recommend:

Dracula 1931 and 1958

Both of them are great, the 58 version would be better if black and white movies aren't your thing but don't expect the effects to be amazing.

3:10 to Yuma

Anchorman

If you haven't already seen this movie then drop everything you are doing and watch it, you won't be able to breathe.

Personally I think there should be a section for things like this, a Film and Television Section or something.

It'd would go under the emo entertainment section.

A sub-section would be nice, though.

I mean't a Sub-Section.

Would be good to have a Sub-Section, it all ends up in the Hangout. Did there not used to be a Section or Sub-Section for it?

How the fuck does a movie fit in a section dedicated to poetry and prose, let alone in a ‘published authors discussion’ sub-section?

My top three:

3. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Robert Ford, who's idolized Jesse James since childhood, tries hard to join the reforming gang of the Missouri outlaw, but gradually becomes resentful of the bandit leader.

2. The Fountain
Spanning over one thousand years, and three parallel stories, The Fountain is a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world.

1. My Dinner with Andre
Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory, apparently playing themselves, share their lives over the course of an evening meal at a restaurant. Gregory, a theatre director from New York, is the more talkative of the pair. He relates to Shawn his tales of dropping out, travelling around the world, and experiencing the variety of ways people live, such as a monk who could balance his entire weight on his fingertips. Shawn listens avidly, but questions the value of Gregory's seeming abandonment of the pragmatic aspects of life.

Other movies I love:

Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens
Vampire Count Orlok expresses interest in a new residence and real estate agent Hutter's wife. Silent classic based on the story "Dracula."

Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari
Dr. Caligari's somnambulist, Cesare, and his deadly predictions.

Silence of the Lambs
A young FBI cadet must confide in an incarcerated and manipulative killer to receive his help on catching another serial killer who skins his victims.

Cape Fear (1991 remake)

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
Amélie, an innocent and naive girl in Paris, with her own sense of justice, decides to help those around her and along the way, discovers love.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
A couple undergo a procedure to erase each other from their memories when their relationship turns sour, but it is only through the process of loss that they discover what they had to begin with.

Fitzcarraldo
The story of Brian Sweeney Fitzgerald, an extremely determined man who intends to build an opera house in the middle of a jungle.

I Saw The Devil
When his pregnant fiancée becomes the latest victim of a serial killer, a secret agent blurs the line between good and evil in his pursuit of revenge.

Aguirre - Der Zorn Gottes
In the 16th century, the ruthless and insane Aguirre leads a Spanish expedition in search of El Dorado.

Conspiracy
A dramatic recreation of the Wannsee Conference where the Nazi Final Solution phase of the Holocaust was devised.

Talvisota
Russia attacked Finland in late November 1939. This film tells the story of a Finnish platoon of reservists from the municipality of Kauhava in the province of Pohjanmaa/Ostrobothnia who leave their homes and go to war. The film focuses on the farmer brothers Martti and Paavo Hakala.

The Seventh Seal

No Country for Old Men

Marebito

4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days

That should do.
