Come out to your friends before you come out to your family. You'll know who your true friends will be, because your true friends won't shun you.
When coming out to your family, you have to do it, not some third party. Don't use a defensive tone or angry tone. By doing so, you'll create a lot of tension.
Most importantly, don't rush to conclusions. Your family will need time to absorb the news. If you have good relationships with them already, then there is a higher chance they will accept the news.
Lastly, not everyone is going to be accepting. That's life. Do not try to take it so personally. Be yourself. You wouldn't like it if someone didn't accept your beliefs about things, so keep that in mind.

fun you should do it at a family reunion XD then your family
has something to talk about.

You should do the pals before fam thing. It sounds pretty sound proof. If your friends can't accept you for who you are, they were never your friend.
