These are some good renders, they do look quite realistic actually. They need to be brighter though, so more detail can be seen within them, it's all well and good you can create these, but you need to focus on lighting more. The castle in your most recent pic conforms to the lighting, but it still looks like it's just been shopped in there. I mean, if you look at this, a photograph: http://cdn.c.photosh...of-a-castle.jpg you will see the castle looks as if it belongs there. If you look at your render, you can see quite clearly where the stone ends and the grass begins, it doesn't quite look right. Try to work on blending the castle in there so it looks as if it's supposed to be there. The angle of the shadow is spot on though.
Funny thing is, i put the castle in the scene and rendered it all as one. But yeah i get what you mean. i havent even textured the castle yet, ive only just learned how to model it. The colour you see in the image was just the stock material. Im working on getting some ivy plants to grow around the base which will blend it in better, then i might be able to texture it by the end of the week. Im learning all of this off youtube tutorials, but i still need to go to class and do work there. Im learning 3ds max, zbrush, dreamweaver, flash, vue, after effects, indesign, photoshop, illustrator, world machine, terragen all in parallel. and i have to get them all done and have something to show for it by the end of the year. its going to be one hectic few months.

I'd like to see the castle one when you've finished with it, because it's looking a bit lonely just sitting there. It's missing something. I'm not sure what, but it just feels a bit empty.
