I for one cannot wait. I hate summer, I really do. Summer essentially means 'full time work', and we don't even have the weather to make your days off enjoyable.

First things first, I have my summer vacation in two weeks. I always go away at the end of August/start of September because it feels as though you've had much more of a break when you do go back into classes, and most countries are the most beautiful then, and a lot less hellishly busy. I'm going with two friends, I can't wait to finally get a break and get away from everything.
Howinever, I'm going into my final year, which is slightly terrifying but equally exciting. I believe I start back classes around the 17th of September. I still have to chose between Derivatives and Econometrics but I've chosen my 3 other modules from the list of 6 or so, and 2 others are compulsory as well, so six modules overall.
Usually the first few weeks of university are quite lazy, getting back into the swing of things, getting used to your new timetable, going out with the class, etc. We'll probably be going out a fair bit because a lot of people were away for summer so we haven't seen each other much.
I'm probably still going to be working, I work part-time purely for the money. I had contemplated giving it up for my final year to focus entirely on my studies, but I'm pretty good at time management and I don't know if I could have no money whatsoever. Work will start getting absolutely mental with Christmas during October or so which is.... great. My third Christmas in retail, christ. But until Christmas is hell for me, I usually work 20-30 hour weeks on top of 20+ hours a week of lectures - and that excludes breaks, commuting, etc.
Another gloriously terrifying thing is that around September/October, pretty much straight away we have to start applying for Masters programmes, and jobs after college as well.
