Right, my first time posting in this section. I'm a bit shaky about it, since English is not my maternal language. I write occasionally, as you will probably notice.

This piece is the ending of Stalker/Angel by Eli Goldsworth. Truth is, he's a 'Degrassi: Next Generation' character that caught my attention. I've been following it for a while. çThey're still airing season 10 in my country.) and was intrigued by a certain story he had written for a magazine. In his story, the hero kills his lover and drinks her blood so they will be together. Thought I'd give it a try. Critique (either good or bad) is welcome. No doubt I'll learn from it. I actually wasn't planning on posting it, but wth, it doesn't hurt.




How amazing, this feeling of love. I want to be with her, forever. Yet I’m anxious that Death will take her away from me, unexpected. I’m not willing to just stand there and watch from the sidelines. She is mine. Now and always. Only mine. I do not want anyone else touch her with filthy hands. So pure she is, white and o so fragile. No one will ever come between us and I know exactly how I will manage. We will become one for eternity.

“My love”, I whispered, “come to me.” She glanced at me, but slowly approached. “What is wrong, my dear?” she asked.
I looked into her beautiful blue eyes, blue as the sky on a sunny day with no clouds.
Slowly I began to speak: “Do you love me?”
“Of course. I love you like no one else in the world.”
A warm smile lit up her face. I swallowed, then continued: “ You want to be with me forever, right?”
She studied my face for a while. I mustn’t waver now, no matter what. I had to have absolute clarity before I proceeded.
“Yes, I want to be with you for all eternity. After all the hardships we have been through, wasn’t that clear? Please, do not question my feelings for you. I love you, you are the only one for me. That will not change. Not now, not ever. I am yours.”
She brushed her lips against mine. I pulled her closer, and we shared an intense kiss. We embraced each other, just staring at one another. My arms held her captive. They tightened their grip. She is mine.
I caressed her slender neck. I love this girl, she meant the world for me. Even touching her filled me with the highest pleasure we mortals are granted.
So soft. I let the blade slit her throat, as gently as I could. Her eyes gazed at me in amazement, not understanding why I was doing this.
“Trust me, my love. It is the only way for us. You said you wanted to be with me forever, as do I. No one will ever come between us. We will become one.”
The blood started pouring. The deeper I cut, the more her neck became painted with the red wine that runs through her veins. Her body shocked, but I held her, stroking her hair. “Everything is going to be alright. Just trust me.” I kissed her again, while the lights in her eyes slowly faded.
My tongue ran along the cut. If we wanted to become one, I needed to drink her blood, until hers was mine. It was our blood. Even Death couldn’t stop us now. I drank her blood, savouring the taste. While her heartbeat fainted, mine grew faster. “It beats for the two of us,” I whispered to her. She remained lifeless in my arms. Our destiny was fulfilled. Softly, I closed her eyes, kissing them for the last time.
The blood-soaked blade, still shone in the dimmed candlelight. I ran across it with my tongue, then pointed it towards my heart.
“We are united for all eternity, I wish for nothing more.” Like Romeo and Julliet. But we didn’t face a tragic ending. We chose the best way to be together.
This is a new beginning. This is an eternal love.
