So a lot of us have talked over the years about meeting as a general group somewhere, and a few of us have visited or met up with various individual members - but never as a group.

Now, I know that the US members are kind of fucked in this area, since CJ only has Forrest and Mike to meet up with really and who the fuck would subject themselves to that?

But regardless, a surprising amount of our members are based in Europe, and even more surprisingly, the UK. It's not much of a stretch for these people to appear in a central location of the country, say, London, for a day, and for those people to group up with other people and to all really actually get to know each other, because who and what we are on here is a lot different to who and what we are in real life.

So this is basically an interest-check - who would be willing to attend such a meetup?

Also feel free to use this thread as your own means of arranging meets with anyone you like, no matter your global positioning. I know my initial suggestion is impractical for those of you on other continents, but don't let that stop you. If you don't want to be stopped, of course.

Actually I'd be down for this, although I would suggest somewhere a bit more central and easier to navigate then London... i.e. Birmingham, then we can include our cousins to the north without it being prohibitively expensive.

When uni starts, and my damn loan comes in, I could finally get to Liverpool to see Kate or she could come see me in Manchester. If she'll still have me, of course.

London was just a suggestion as a general well-known place with bare stuff to do, but I was open to anywhere else. If you wanna go ahead and jump down my throat anyway, fine, whatever. It's not like it's hugely cheap for me to get to either.

I say we should all meet up in Rome, that seems fairly central.

In theory, I actually don't think I'd mind doing this. It's like €40 to get a return flight over and tbh, I'm curious about most of you bastards (and topshop is a LOT cheaper over there...). It's difficult to get the time off work on weekends once I go back to university though, and that's probably the only time that would realistically work for everyone.




Now it's just the awkward question of who is sharing hotel rooms with who, chances are at least SOME people would use this as an opportunity to get laid. (forzare can I kick chewy out of bed and come share with you ;( )

I have to say, although I kinda expected this to come up EVENTUALLY, I definitely did not think it would be hyena suggesting it - and surprisingly enough, I doubt either of us would hate each other nearly as much in person.

I would love to come see some of you people, I've already met with Amy, Chad and some other tall cunt I can't really remember. London is expensive as hell though so I do think Birmingham as a more realistic alternative for me financially and as I recall most of the UK people are in the north area anyway? My only concern is that we don't have a token black guy.

I would like to meet up with some people, If I could pluck up the courage to actually speak to any of you. I wouldn't want to make anybody uncomfortable by standing staring at my shoes. I'd do my best, though, and hopefully allay any fears that anybody has that I'm actually as creepy as I appear.
