K, so this post is probably a bit late, i haven't been on in a while. But THANKYOU for finally saying something nice on my forum topic! I think youre like the first or maybe second one on here so far who hasn't said something mean! there are definately too many assholes! XD

 

And i did end up seeing the movie! it was posted on youtube for like one day until it got taken down becasue of copyright. lucky me i caught it before it was gone! i loved it so much and all forty five minutes of it were the best forty five minutes of my life. everything BVB does is amazing. i also have the album and listen to it every day! Once again, thanks for being nice. XD hope ya have a nice day, fellow member of the army.

I think that this movie would be awesome, I agree with those who like the band, their music, and their individuality. And those who don't, well everyone is entitled to their own opinions,......even if they're making me buttrage so hard.

I think I would see it just to see the ecentric, brainwashing scheming they do to get poor unfortunate adolscents to condone that crap. Maybe its like the whole fandom with the Jonas Brothers.

 

Pretty sad what emo, punk and all those scenes became over time...  Well its not really emo, I dunno what you call that crap not really important. No I'm not really interested at all, actually.

personally i liked it, but its truthfully just a 45 minute music video, theres no dialouge or anything. i understand their idea of it being a concept film for the new album but i think it could've been better

I think I saw about 10 minutes of it before I turned it off. It's just not something I cared for. They're an 'okay' band, but for some reason I can only listen to a few select songs. Maybe it's the fact that men who wear makeup creep me out, unless it's KISS.

But that's a story for a different time!

Is a person not supposed to be aloud to listen to different types of music? I also enjoy Bob Marley, Aerosmith, and Eminem. I have quite a wide variety of taste in music, but I am not too fond of Black Veil Brides. I have my reasons, but that's that.

Well, I used to call people haters, thinking they were the assholes, but in reality I was the asshole for shunning everyone's views just because they weren't the same as mine. My mother once told me "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!" But I eventually grew up to tolerate the opinions of others, as I expect you guys will at some point. Either that or stand on your pedestal, screaming "HATERS FUCK YOU LOL I DONT CARE WHAT YOU THINK I COULD CARE LESS" and getting nowhere in discussions.

 

But anyway, let's get back on topic, I enjoyed slamming BVB's probably terrible film. I'll tell you what; instead of just assuming it's terrible, I, along with Rellik will watch this film and I'll tell you, after giving the film a real chance, how I feel about it. Here's a heads up though: Don't get your hopes up, this film is probably trash. 

People are being rude because you were acting rude. If you want to actually give your opinion you can at least try to be respectful even if you have no respect for what it is your talking about, if you don't you end up looking like an asshole. Plus I don't think you can tell others that they should consider other peoples views if your disrespectful like you were, because for all you know someone might agree with you or would be willing to discuss it further with you but they end up saying mean things to you because you seem like a jerk.

Then boohoo to them. I don't care if I appear an asshole, there's nothing wrong with that. I respect anyone's views really, I just think any view that isn't mine is absolutely retarded and wrong. I still respect it though.

No there isn't, it doesn't matter how respectful your opinion supposedly is, someone will always take offence that you didn't like or did like something for the smallest of reasons. I've done it, you'd done it, we've all done it and it'd be wrong to assume otherwise, it's just part of the nature of being a fan of something.

They've said mean things to me, after I've said I think something they like is stupid. Let me put it another way:

Dude 1: "Man, I don't like Nutella, it looks like ass to me."

Dude 2: "FUCK YOU MAN! YOUR AN ASSHOLE! IF YOU DON'T LIKE NUTELLA DON'T TALK AROUND ME!"

Dude 1: "Fine, jeez man, whatever chill... forget it."

Dude 2: "Man, I totally wanted to know more about why you think that..."

 

You see how stupid that is right?

 

The way you post your opinions can lead people to thinking your an asshole.

The point of an opinion is that it's exclusively my own, I should be able to post it in anyway I wish, so long as I'm not being didactic about it and telling others what to think, no one has a right to silence anothers opinion, no matter how stupid or offensive it is, you are within your rights to have an opinion on my opinion, but you don't actively insult someone who doesn't share your opinion.
