Rumor: New Pokemon revealed, looks very much like a Digimon. I'm whaling so hard from madness.

 

Via Serebii. This pokémon was revealed in a trailer for the upcoming ExtremeSpeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens, where it appears as a horde. There wasn't any photography allowed during the screening, so Zenity was kind enough to do a quick drawing of the newly revealed tree Pokémon Oorotto. For those of you who are a fan of all “Mons" (not just Pokemon), you’ll notice that it looks very much like Cherrymon.

They're better off not adding new pokemon for the next few games. There's still so many stories they can tell by reusing old regions.

Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn are so old they're new.  I want to face an older red and an older gold. Their pokemon must be all level 100 though

Call it nostalgia but the music felt way more epic. Ruby/Emerald/sapphire's sucked ass. Black and white from what I listened isn't bad but nothing epic.

I think I heard Black and white 2 reused the music as well

I love any/every/all pokemon games, but I must say that I favor the old ones more. I'll always buy the new ones, to at least try them out.

Oh my fuck, those scans make me want to murder the Pokémon Company, what the bloody hell are they doing? It looks hideous. 

 

My only resort of reason for buying the game would be for the story-line and getting to have the other gen pokémon, other than that, gen 6 looks like it's going to be worse than B&W :| right in the childhood.

Junichi Masuda has revealed a new Mega Evolution for Pokémon X and Y, Mega Kangaskhan, which we have pictured below. Mega Kangaskhan has the ability Parental Bond which allows it to attack twice. There were also some new details revealed by the official Japanese site. Mega Evolutions are restricted to one on each user's side per battle. It is not known if they are referring to only having one Mega Evolution on the field or in your party overall. The Mega Evolution will also revert back to it's normal state after the battle has ended in win/loss, not when it is called out of battle.

Also, not sure if this is real or speculation, but it does make sense, seeing as the main legendary Pokémon are based on Norse mythology.

Not sure if I'm gonna get it now. I was planning to buy a 3DS and get it the day it was released but I think I might wait to hear what others think of it first now.

I appreciate that they're trying to shake it up a bit more than usual but it's as if they put a bunch of five-year-olds in a room and asked them what changes would they make. "Oh hey, let's add in Transformers/Digimon for the boys and Nintendogs for the girls." I will never recover from how shit that Mega Ampharos looks. I don't think I'll be able to bring myself to capture a Mareep ever again.

Yeah, I feel the same as well. The only reason I would buy a copy is for the sake of getting to play pokémon, really. I'm okay with the new graphics and tweaks they're giving the game, but things such as 'Mega Pokémon'.. really can't digest that bit yet. I would have never imagined they would do such a thing, especially since they look more like Digimon than pokémon. 

 

Speaking of Nintendogs, there's this feature in the game called 'Pokémon Amie' and it really looks like a pokémon version of that game. It's used to strengthen your bond with them or to make one pokémon in particular strenghten it's bond with it's team mates. I think this idea is okay as well, don't mind it too much.
