Violet looked at Colette and nodded. They both got up and started gathering things together for their night time adventure. Violet folded an abandoned blanket and shoved it in her bag along with her flashlight, a lighter, spray paint, and her camera, all of which no one but Colette knew she owned. As Colette finished gathering the rest of the things they needed in her bag, Violet tip toed back to the tent her and her family where staying in to grab her pocket knife.

 

Violet met back up with Colette and they stole away into the quiet night.

Bella leans her head back against the rough bark of the tree, eyes closed. The popping and cracking of the fire intermingled with the teenagers exchanging stories.

"Bella! Bella!" One of the newer, younger Misfits exclaims,
"Can you play the violin? It's so pretty!" Bella's eyes snap open, focusing on the vibrant face.

"Can you say please?" She teases. Even if she didnt, Bella would play. But softly, as to not disturb the young and old sleeping.

"Pleeeeaaasssseee?" Four of the teenagers chorus. Laughing, Bella pulls out her violin from its case, and begins to play a quiet, but fast paced song. That's when she notices Rat is gone.

"Did you get the water?" Violet asked Colette. "Yes," Colette answered. "How about the apples?" Violet inquired. "Yup," Colette replied. "You didn't forget th-" Violet began, but Colette interrupted her saying "Violet! We've been doing this for over ten years. I know what to bring. Water, food, extra batteries, jars, bags, and anything else you get. I remembered!" Colette started laughing. No matter how long they have known each other, Violet still had to check and recheck every minute detail of their little escapades to make sure they have everything they may need in case of the worst and in case of the best. "Now lemme see the pictures!" Colette exclaimed as they came to a clearing. "Fine," Violet conceded, handing Colette the camera. Violet took a sip of her water as Colette relived all of their past adventures. "I wonder what fun things we'll find here," Violet mused aloud.

"Okay, that's enough!" Bella laughs at their crest fallen faces. She gets up, stretching. A large yawn claims her face.

"I guess I'm headed to hit the sack," she says slowly, scanning the few people milling about. Both Violet and Colette was gone, but that was nothing new. But Rat was still missing, and Bella was beginning to worry.

She is a grown women, Bella muses to herself, stepping lightly over the shadow kissed grass towards the tent she shares with a group of new Misfits. Bella always offers her tent to the newbies; the Leader claims she was really good at making them feel at home and accepted. It was a thing she enjoyed doing, besides. She loved being able to help people. As long as she could do it her way.

She creeps into the tent, laying down by her stuff. Closes her eyes, feeling a dreadful sliver of loneliness slip into her heart.

Rat had made her way to her tent and was laying there listening to the soft sounds of people sleeping in the camp, some one somewhere cried and then was hushed reassuringly, probably a child being cared for by its mother after a nightmare.

Colette and Violet sat on the blanket watching as the forest around them began to twinkle and glow with the little lights of the lightning bugs. "Hand me my camera!" Violet demanded hurriedly. Violet adjusted the camera until she was certain she had the best shot of the millions of tiny creatures lighting up the forest. "Okay. Let's go," Violet said to Colette and they set off towards the streetlights in the distance.

 

When the came up on the interstate, they stayed in the shadows. When they came upon a crumbling building, Violet and Colette crouched down and began to remove the camera and spray paint cans. Colette took the paint and began to create an image similar to the one they had just seen back in the forest. Dark blues and blacks created the trees and underbrush, while soft yellows and whites formed the bugs. At the bottom Colette signed what she always did: LETTIES. Violet turned her flash up so that she could capture the mural in the dark alley and snapped a photo of their legacy. Then they headed back to the camp.

Jack fell to the ground after a tree fell on him. The crack and the crash of the tree woke everyone up. Rat soon runs towards the bus....

Bella jerked awake when a loud CHRASH!! exploded through the camp.

"Oh God," she whispered, leaping onto her feet. The others in her tent woke up with screams
, but before they could say anything Bella was gone.

Her feet pounded across the ground as she ran towards where the sound came from. There!! People were gathering around a large tree that had fallen. And there was Jack! Trapped underneath!

Rat and the others were desperately trying to lift the tree, and Bella sprinted to assist. She hoped he was okay.

Jack said get the chains from the bus and attach them to the van and try to lift the tree. Jack then passed out...

"Chains, chains..." Bella muttered as she dashes to get the chains. Jack had gone unconscious, and the race was on to free him before he was seriously injured.

Rat ran with Bella to get the chains she took on end and attached it to the bus and quickly got in as Bella secured the other end around the tree. Remembering what Jack had taught her about driving the bus she put it in reverse and slammed on the gas, hard. After a moment of squealing from the bus the tree began to move and came lose.

When Colette and Violet came back, there was chaos and panic and a fallen tree. They immediately dropped their things in their tents and ran to help.

Jack was still unconscious and was bleeding heavily..... He need help and blood fast. He couldn't go to the hospital because the police and the assassins would find him.

"Rat, what are we going to do?" Bella asked frantically, bent over with her examining his heavily bleeding body.

Violet and Colette came running, breathing heavy, faces drawn in concern. Bella looked up at Rat, searching her face. Looked back down at the blood and started trembling. Oh god, there was so much. Everything was bathed in crimson.

"I... I dont know..." Rat shook as she stood up quickly looking around for MOM, when Rat saw her she was walking briskly towards where everyone was gathered.

"Get him into my tent." She told a few of the stronger looking men. As they picked Jack up and carried him carefully into the leaders tent Rat stood back trying to get the sight of all that blood out of her head. She didn't realize it but she had backed into someone and was now sort of leaning against them.

That was something he used to have trouble with. His anger. But he found a way to surpress it, and now he's with the Misfits. Despite loving the life on the road and all that follows with it, he absolutely hates singing. Nathan's voice isn't all bad, but he hates doing it nonetheless. 
Biography: Lived his life like many youngsters do. Did fine in school and with his friends, yet life was too boring for him. Too many rules and decisions he had to make. So, it was easier not to care and just hit the road. So Nathan did, and here he is. Whatever life is going to bring for him, he doesn't know. The boy just takes one day at a time, living life as he wants to.

"You've got red on you." Nathan said and looked down at Rat, his hair a mess. All the commotion had woken him up, but when he had reached the site, there was nothing he could help with. They had it under control already. "Anyway, what the hell happened?" He took a drag of the cigarette he was smoking and exhaled. Whoever had been hurt, he wasn't even certain of, but it didn't look like Rat had been injured in any way.

Rat jumped and looked up at Nathan quickly then when she noticed the blood in her hair she gulped and quickly put her hair up in a messy pony tail. "Th-thanks.." She muttered then sighed. "Can I have one of those?" She asked softly pointing at Nate's pack of cigarettes.

Sighing softly as she watched Jack being carried to the Leaders tent, Bella began peering around. People were chatting a million miles an hour, trying to figure everything. She found herself wishing for something. Not knowing what, she continued looking. Saw Rat and Nate standing close together. Biting the inside of her lip, she began walking towards them.

Violet and Colette joined Rat and the others. "What the hell happened?" Violet asked Rat. Rat always knew the going ons in the camp, then Violet noticed the blood on Rat. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay? You have blood all over you!" Violet took Rat's arm and began looking for a wound.

She watched Violet thoroughly examine Rat, fussing over her non stop. She smiled; Violet was truly a generous, kind person. She always liked that about her.

Rat mumbled about it being nothing, and Bella glanced up at Nate, who was watching with amusement in his eyes. The light gray smoke was barely visible as it danced in the air from the cherry lit cigarette. She met his eyes briefly before looking down at the ground.

"I'm going to go check on Jack," she mumbled.
