Jess took the camera and tucked it back into her backpack, as the plane started to move Jess grew nervous she fastened her seat belt and sat back breathing deep to stay calm. She could hear the turbines, it made her even more nervous. She had only been on planes a few times as a child.
She looked around at the others then quickly hoping they wouldn't see, she grabbed two small blue pills out of a bottle in her pack and swallowed them, she was soon asleep.
Sleeping through the flight seemed like a good idea.

The plane takes off into the sky, and Chuck then looks out the window. he watches as the cars become ant sized, and the buildings that once towered over him become underneath his feet. He tried to remain calm. What happens on the mission hasn't happened yet, but for now he can enjoy the flight, and go.

Kat quickly settled into her seat with her laptop bag strewn across her lap, seatbelt snug around her. A woman sat beside her looking out the window. She was the one who said she was in the U.S Marine corps: surely she was apart of the mission.
She noticed others talking before getting the glimpse of a video. That woman is amazing..she had the urge to go interview the woman. But she didnt know for sure if she was apart of the misson. Her article was based on Zombie Island only, so she didnt want to get caught up in anything else. She needed to make sure first, but she decided to keep a close eye on that woman.
Katrina turned to the woman next to her, peering quietly out the window as the plane took off. A surge or adreneline burst through her. This was it! Excited, she opened her mouth to speak to the Marine lady, not quite sure what her name was. She had been too much in a hurry.
"Hey, um,Im Kat. Im heading to an Island paradise," she said slyly, waiting for the woman to turn and look at her.
(Im sorry guys, Oklahoma is being hit by a bad icestorm right now. I dont know how regular I can post.)

Job: (if applicable) Studying Psychology
Personality: Honest, caring, genuine sorta guy. Loves a laugh, and has always been quite charming to ladies. However prone to being late, and rather clumsy.
Background: Zack’s grown up with his mum, dad, and elder brother Eric, whom he’s always, looked up to. Straight A student in high school and has moved on to study psychology and criminology. Always has had a fascination with people’s decisions and their morals. Vegetarian.
Other info: Very against violence. Very resourceful
Country of Origin: Australia
Reason for signing up: His brother worked in the army and was originally chosen for this job however due to serious injury was unable to go. Zack was chosen as an immediate replacement and has been ordered to board the first flight to this island.
Zack was still in a state of shock. He muttered to himself as he was walked to the helicopter to fly to the island. Due to his brother’s sudden injury he had been chosen, he had missed the original flight, and he was so out of his comfort zone it wasn’t funny. Silently, he sat in the back of the chopper were a rather talkative pilot was waiting to start up the engine. The pilot kept talking some nonsense bull crap, but Zack couldn’t care less. Why would he care? He did hear something about being only a few minutes being the original plane, apparently we would catch up very quickly.

{let's move this along shall we?}
The plane ride goes smooth as normal, with average chit chat among the members. The plane arrives on a landing strip leading into the island. Tropical, with a mountain on the east side. The plane slides to a stop and the pilots prepare to exit the plane. Chuck makes sure he has everything and waits patiently for everyone else.

Maria didn't realise she'd been quiet the whole flight, listening to the buzz from the others. When she got off the plane, she followed the orders she was given over the phone and went down the corridor and to the right, unlocking the door with the master Key she'd been handed at the airport. Apparently, everything they'd need for the mission would be found in this room. "Guys.. It's time to suit up" she called out to them all. Taking nothing more than some basic body protection, an assault rifle and a fair bit of ammo, flick knife and a mini first aid kit. She wasn't planning on doing much fighting, more of a healer than a killer.

Finally the chopper began to lower itself into a huge patch of grass. Zack muttered a quick "Thank you" to the pilot and jogged up to where he saw the others walking into the room. He jumped through the door, "Hi everybody! Sorry about being late" He looked around and saw everyone going through their backpacks. "Oh... We could bring stuff from home...?" He looked down to the ground, this sucked. He hadn't had time to grab anything, not even a toothbrush!

((No, you can't fly with concealed weapons. They'd have been checked pre-boarding!))
(Oh, gosh. Forgot. My cousin (In Marines) can fly inside the country because of his job. Forgot about the international flight thing -.- duh. I will edit in this post)
Shana stood when the plane was grounded, then shouldered her backpack once again. She exited the plane with everyone else, going to check her luggage. As she laid out her concealed weapon permit and several knives and a few guns to be checked by the guards, she saw the looks she was getting from other passengers were giving her. She really didn't care, she was legal. She went towards the waiting area to see what the assignment entailed and to wait for the rest of her crew. Once in the room, she got the rifle, more ammo, and an extra first aid kit. She had the space to store it and the strength to carry the extra weight.
"Hello." She said, acknowledging the new arrival to the group.

(Nat, if some of this gear is too much/too advanced for the RP, just let me know.)
Chuck follows the others off the plane, and into the gear room. He looks around at the big arsenal of weaponry in awe. I can't do this... He thought. He's shot cans and gone hunting with his dad, but he couldn't shoot a person, infected or not. He struggles to put on some basic armor. He shudders and the thought of what was to come. It was then when Chuck turned around and saw the cabinet labeled "electronics". As he opens the door, his face lights up. It was filled with all sorts of cool stuff. Chuck grabs a Proton Discharger (basically a high powered tazer, that extends to about 2 feet long), some cool looking watches and earpieces, and a tranqulizer gun and some ammo. This is great He thought. If i can just disarm/disable them, i won't have to kill them. He put it all out on the table in front of him, and then noticed something else.
There was a briefcase in the cabinet. Chuck opens it and finds 3 balls and a wrist piece. He slips on the wrist band, and a screen comes up that says -Offline-. Chuck taps it, and a 3D map comes up of the airport, complete with guard/security information. There was also 3 tabs, which he assumed corresponded to the balls. Chuck clicked on tab one, and one of the balls opened up. It was shaped like a spider, and the wrist piece became a camera. There was some extra side buttons and programming kinds of stuff, but Chuck figured he could experiment with it later. The spider became a ball again, and Chuck clicked on the next tab. 4 rotors slid out of the second ball, and it began to hover. Again, the screen became a camera, and it was clear that this device was meant to scan and search for things. After getting used to the flight controls, he formed it into a ball again, and clicked the third tab. The third ball was the the same as the second. He would loved to continue to experiment with them, but now wasn't the time.
Chuck then turns his attention to the watches. As people grab their gear, he calls out "After you're done, I have some extra gear for you. The watches have been programmed with a GPS system, so we should be able to track everyone. Also, these ear pieces allow for us to communicate. The signal should be able to reach the whole island, with some minor interference at some points." He smiles, and waits for the others to follow in.
(For reference the helicopters kinda look like this, but in base form, more spherical)

((@Deannalhi, I meant, your character wouldn't have been able to fly with weapons! International flying or not, considering the airport was on a military base, they wouldn't have let. There was tight security. As I said at the beginning of the RP. Real life knowledge and logic is not welcome here. =/ not having a go, just, no one else had concealed weapons, and you certainly wouldn't have a permit for it.))
((@Jack haha! no it's fine, that's the sort of futuristic awesomeness I was looking for. Love how you craftily snook S.H.I.E.L.D in there though muahah. also. Proton Dischargers are cool.))
Maria looked over at everyone else, and wondered about their weaponry choices. She noticed some seemed to struggle a little more than others. Most didn't welcome the thought of having to kill another human being, but in this situation, it was kill or be killed. She needed to wait until everyone had suited up before she could pass on the holographic debriefer, the officer had given her before she'd gone to the waiting room in the airport.

(okay cool. I'm going for the SHIELD/Spy Kids/Chuck kinda feel.)
As Chuck waits for the others to finish up, he starts messing with his new wrist brace. Learning the programming and ins/outs of it. He's never seen anything like it, and he felt like a Kid on Christmas.

((Yeaah, it's awesome! I love S.H.I.E.L.D though ;D and Spy Kids was great too xD ))
Maria walked over to where Chuck was seemingly fiddling with his new stuff. "You look like a child that's just stumbled upon their christmas presents" she said sweetly... then frowned a little. "You've never been out doing stuff like this before though have you?" she asked, she felt this urge to look after him. Make sure he didn't get himself hurt or zombified. Even though she hadn't known him long at all, there was just something friendly about him. Unlike some of the others who just seemed all to full of themselves. Maria would attempt to get on with them all though. Lack of teamwork in situations like this would get you killed or worse.

Chuck smiled when Maria came to talk to him. He looks her dead in the eye and replies in one simply word. "Nope.". He knew he wasn't nearly as badass as the rest of the crew. But when it came to tech, Chuck knew he could do it.

Zack walked up to the rows and rows of mechenics, weapons and first aid. He found a small bag in the corner of the room and carefully made a selection of things he may need to survive. He ended up with two first aid kits (filled with bandages and mixtures of herbs) a lighter, a long, thick piece of rope, a small metal bottle for water, an army knife and a thin cotton blanket to help keep warm if he needed. Before he walked out of the room, he spotted a large combat bow with a range of arrows to choose from. Although he didn't have intention to kill, it might help with hunting rabbits or fish, whatever the else the island held.
He smiled when Chuck handed him the watch and ear piece. "I'm Zack by the way everyone! Please, tell me, what have I missed? Anything I should know?"

Chuck shook Zack's hand when came to grab the watch/earpiece. "Hello Zack, the name's Chuck. I'm the techy of the crew, and besides names and pleasantries, you havent really missed much."
Chuck went over the checklist again in his head. Personal gear. Check. New gear. Check.. Weapon, ranged and CC. Check. Not much for survival though. Chuck looked around. A lot of people were grabbing first aid kits, so he figured he wouldn't need any. We brought a water bottle from home, again not a problem there. Considering all the chats about survival his friends had back home, he thought he was good. The gear should give him an advantage as far as locations and placement for the island.

Jess had stayed quiet and in the background the entire time but when the new guy stepped into the picture she figured she should start connecting with the team, hopefully that way she wouldn't die. The Zack guy seemed ok to start with. She walked p next to him and smiled at him, "I'm Jess, I'm the.... I guess you could say I'm the killer for the team..." She looked around at the others, she knew they were thinking it, she was an unstable killer, and they would have been right. If she weren't unstable, and hadn't been trained how to take life, and spare it, not just trained to kill.
[sorry if this post seems stupid and out of place, just trying to get myself back in.]
