Here you are welcomed to share them, talk about them and post information to push others to check them out as well. I'll post one of mine for now.

Austin Wintory's Journey sountrack - this CD has 18 songs, Apotheosis being the one that strikes me the most out of them all. It's so melting and reminds me of ancient times, where wars had to be fought and lands had to be conquered. Great listen for those who love introspective thinking. And to speak a bit about the game, I think I could never put into words how much it has impacted my life and how the company exceeded their goals in shining this through. A true gem of gaming which I highly recommend any real experienced gamer who loves meditation and thinking about life. This game has my inexhaustible praise and complete five star rating! And, no pun intended "Life is not about the journey, but the destination."

If interested, the soundtrack can be purchased here.

Here's another of my favourites, track 18 "I Was Born For This":

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are honestly two of my favorite games of all time, and the soundtracks contribute a LOT to that aspect. Not only that, but the overall atmosphere of the games just work wonders and dance around in your brain. The games are so minimalist and yet they tell you so much without ever actually throwing it in your face. It's so masterfully done, unraveling the story of the fucked up world you're in just by piecing together fragments of sad shit you see.

This is one of the saddest moments of the series for me. You're not given backstory or told who you're killing or why you're killing them, you just stumble onto scenarios like this. The minimalism leaves you to fill in the blanks and it's fucking magical, and the soundtrack with the atmosphere they create is incredible.

Beyond that, the songs and themes are just really fucking stellar anyway, even without all the fluffy atmosphere stuff I was talking about.

I'll think about posting more later but probably won't because YOU PROBABLY DON'T EVEN CARE YOU BAKA.

I know it sounds overrated but I really love Call of Duty: Modern Wafare 2 and 3's OST's. Hans Zimmer did 2, and he is just an amazing artist (probably one of my favorite composers) and Brian Tyler did the third, I had never heard of him but some of the tracks are just so beautiful with the intricacy while keeping it in terms of warfare

Baldur's Gate (both games) have the greatest soundtracks. The Terran soundtrack of the first Starcraft is also really good. 'Hellmarch' from the first Red Alert will always be a favourite of mine, if only for nostalgia reasons (just like the Jungle music from Sonic for the Master System).

For those of you that are confused about the 4th track, Sega of Japan and Europe always use the same OSTs, where as Sega of America has a habbit of re-recording/licensing new music for them... which yes, means in a very rare show of love from a Japanese dev, Europe got the best versions of the Sonic CD and Jet Set Radio (Jet Grind Radio stateside) OSTs.

Chaos Theory has one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. I really felt it made the game in a way with its dark, atmospheric sound. The way the music changed to your actions was great too. Ambient and subtle when undetected, with more emphasis when your enemies notice things like shot out lights or a body, to full blown madness when you get caught in a gunfight or detected.

I've always been a sucker for Halo and the whole monk chant/choir style thing they have going on. I'm having a hell of a time trying to choose a single one. God, this makes me feel so old.

The nostalgia.

Unf.

And lastly, I just really liked this.

Also a bunch of other stuff like Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim, the original Starcraft as Algernon mentioned, Mass Effect, Dark Souls, Metal Slug, etc.
