Introduction: Welcome, it was once said that god would bring upon us our very end,the bombs had fallen upon us in the year before then. The scars are still upon us now, the barren lands and the ruins of mankind's greatest cities cover every known region of  the planet.  Once civilized peoples had dissolved into countless warring tribes within 100 years of the fall. The only hope mankind has left is to find the last shard of the Old World. The hostile conditions of the wastelands and the desperate survivors stand between you and survival. Will you make it to Paradise or will you feed the cannibals and mutants that rule the wastes.

 

 

Technology Level: Varied: much is modern(guns we know of,ak-47s,pistols and so on) Some is futuristic due to the arms races of the Old World(hence the occasional person carrying around a salvaged laser gun-

 

 

Rules:Humans and mutants generally speaking(this gives a lot of freedom), Provide character info,don't go godmode,try to at least follow the story that the players build.

Name: Charles "The Knife" Gisly

Age:27

Gender:Male

Species: Human

Specialties: , He's good with all sorts of blades, especially knives. Has a knack for surviving off of resilient food sources in the wastelands,and is also exceptionally good at cooking the remains of his enemies. Has a tendency to hide in the shadows until he can get close enough to move in for the kill.

Appearance: A man pale from being kept in a cell for 5 years after being captured by a tribe of cannibals. His long black hair and deeply scarred eyes reflect a man who has seen too much,lost it all.

Background:A cannibal tribe called "Blue Fangs" kept him as one of the breeders for the ten females that the tribe possessed at the time,Charles went mad. He had a family,a wife and a daughter who was about 6 years old  at the time of the raid. The family that was once his  consumed by the cannibals right before his eyes. Years of empty breeding and waiting for a chance to escape and claim vengeance on the tribe turned him into a murderous mastermind. One day the guard was careless at feeding time,getting way too close to Charles,as soon as the guard turned his back,Charles used his own knife against him and slit his throat.  Soon the whole tribe was meeting the same fate,and Charles consumed the leader's wife and kids right before his eyes,just as he did to Charles. The Leader of the Blue Fangs was eaten alive after hearing the screams of his family. Charles released the prisoners and wandered alone into the wastes.

Name: Lixard Beastle

Specialties: The abilities to ward off enemies with a sharp squeal/roar. Roar/squeal deafens and paralyzes the enemy giving the team to attack with any force for a specific amount of time or until the enemy breaks free.
Can also breathe out and eat in burning iron. Eating the scorching iron gives Lixard energy to full ability. Once iron is breathed out, everyone standing 5ft close to the blast will be effected.
Appearance: 7'2" tall and long dark black hair with a small hint of minty green streaks here and there. The streaks signify his team and origin. He always wear pants that are torn and drag below his feet, but the shirt varies and changes when his mood changes. He typically wears a skull t-shirt that says "live to fight or die trying". Along with the shirt changing by mood, his eyes do the same as well for the fact that his eyes were injured back when he was a child. His eyes are oringially hazel-green. He also has mutiple piercings that help drain energy from any attackers.
Personality: Layed back but showy. He always tries to capture attention but also has a fear of taking the spotlight for too long and will have to hide for weeks trying to find a way to keep his spotlight times in check. He also really isn't much of a neat freak, tends to tear up anything he can get his hands on. Friends, teams and people he knows stay alive when touched, but enemies are scorched to a certain state but does not kill them.
Background: As a child, he was neglected and unloved by his parents and was abandoned. He has lived in a cave with bears and wolves for as long as he knew. He had the senses of a bear and wolf but soon lost them all when he was captured and thrown into a containment center and was given something that could merely kill him in a second. He took it at that very moment and seemed absolutely unaffected. Soon they suspected he was a demon or god so they sent him to a solo compartment and wouldn't let him out. They didn't feed him for years and only allowed him out only to help any other prisoner with their job. And if he didn't obey what was told, he would earn 10 new slash marks from being whipped til he bled. While he was in the prison they continuously fed him the substance that didn't effect him before. What the people in the facility and Lixard didn't know was that the substance was a pure power source to Lixard. He stayed in the prison for 10 years, and on his 13th birthday, he finally realized that he had multiple strengths and the substance that the facility was giving him was pure power for the boy. He broke free and ran far away and never returned. With running away, he brought one girl from the prison to his new home. It was his little sister who was captured that very year. They stayed in their own home far away from the prison and any other prisons, but created a team with the people who were captured and who eventually broke free. After 4 years, he started to learn to gain power without the facility substance and learn to defend himself and his team. And most of all, his little sister.

-Is chopping away at the remains of a traveler- Misfortune is no stranger,you're better off dead on this gravel-starts laughing hysterically- Now it's time to start cooking - finds some rotted branches,sets them on fire by creating a spark with a rock and a dull knife over some gasoline found in an old gas station-

Looks like another sitting and raging on for food (said to his dog standing next to him) *uses a bear claw to swipe the fire dead and walks away* (to the human eater) hope to see you again. Been looking for a fight but I do not find you worthy enough

*Eyes glow with joy* Wonderful. My mistress night comes to visit. -starts working at his fire once again- AND I STILL SEE YOU! -sees Lixard's sister and starts crying- Lissette! -Starts hacking away at the traveler more aggressively- FUCK, how am I supposed to cook this piece of shit. -collapses on his knees,screaming at the sky-

Ugh I'm too nice for some people *builds another fire a few feet away from the Charles*. That ain't my sister dude, just a mirage. If u want to come and eat something, I have food to spare and the fire won't be lit forever
