Energy flows like blood from my head
Stars up above seem much brighter now I?m dead
Don?t ask of me, or cry for me
What you want you?ll never see

I will watch from up above, and you will never know my love
That the shove, was from me, in the middle of the street
When, in the sky, the shinning sun had sunk

Never stop, and never ask,
Did he breathe his very last?
Will he wake?
Will he call?
Was he ever there at all?

Energy flows from a hole in her head
Stars overhead seem much duller now she?s dead

Seeing now, in despair, it was never meant to be
There?s a heaven for her
There was never one for me

QUOTE (Laughing Boy @ Mar 30 2008, 09:38 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Through the hall Nobody walked, talking to nobody as everyone talked,
In class Nobody fell asleep, but the teacher didn?t yell nor did she scream,
He knew that she saw him, with his head on the desk, but guessed that she didn?t care,
And soon class ended, then everyone left, leaving him slouching there,
At lunch Nobody sat at the table, the one where nobody sat,
Not eating, he was alone; no food could ever change that,
At home Nobody wasn?t alone, but really wished he were,
?Cause all he felt was hatred, after that was just a blur,
On weekends Nobody would call his friend, she?d wonder why he called,
After 9th grade he hadn't been the same, not quite the same at all,
And then came the night, the night of the fight,
Nobody cringed when it began; His dad had had the upper hand,
And he fell to the floor once again,
Then after awhile the beatings stopped, and his father let him go,
So, crying, Nobody crawled into bed, if only he had known,
His internal bleeding was too severe, and next morning they found him dead,
On Monday Nobody?s seat was empty, but no one seemed to care,
Since no one sitting in Nobody?s desk was the same as having him there.

response poem:

The intensity filled my veins
the origional liquid it drains
to wrap me in this veil of tears
and understand another's fears

And when the last of lines appeared
my sleeping anger reared
to renew a hate so deep
for the abusive who now sleep

So peaceful they are
while driving in their car
will they notice who's behind them
with a gun to send them

To hell and back
and then they'll act
meek and sensitive
but nothing will erase the fact
they never were tentitive

And i'll hold you in my arms
if it makes you feel OK
there's no need to be alarmed
when I'm standing right there.

Well done. Not much inspires me, and that did, so you have some major talent! I read all the other poems you had. Good job!

Your Song

You strike a chord in me
But I fear it?s a minor one
Of a song soon to be

You?re a key part in my life
I just wish I could change the locks
If only you could look through my sight

This tune is so violently sick
Cause when I try to hold on
I just get tired and slip

I?ll admit your brilliance
Sparkled beautifully in my eyes
But at the price of innocence

When you struck a chord in me
The damage was truly major
But that you won?t ever see
Until it?s too late

Dreary Day

Hello dreary day, are you here to stay?
We have so much to catch up on
I can tell, by the way you lay
On the ground and in the sky

From your gray coloration I can already tell
We have so much in common
And you?re not doing well
But now neither of us is alone

You scream your troubles in the form of an echo
And as the birds rise from the trees
The ground in my hands begs me to let go
You tell me all the things I already know

My envy for you is forever endless
For you have to exist only once and awhile
And no one looks at you, but I digress
At least I have your company
